Actually he seemed relatively positive regarding the team. “Complementary football” is the new buzzword. And of course he talked up EKU like they are a formidable power.

Stoops is as ready as we are to take the next step. We just seem to walk right up to that line and then fall back.
Am afraid he has capped out....This is, for the most part, the best it's going to be under Stoops.... No creativity, etc.
And, oh, BTW, our OL coach should have been fired last year.....
I mean if we go 9 and 3 three times n 6 seasons that's pretty solid.

I ain't gonna lie, I was worried early on that Leary might have a noodle arm. He looked a bit better today. I still don't have much confidence going forward that we can compete in conference this year. Having said that, the SEC appears to be WAY down this season.

This is looking like a mediocre year as we don't look dominant or even rock solid on either side of the ball. Oh well. Can't seem to get everything to click at the same time.
They need to STOP wearing white helmets with blue jerseys. White helmets ONLY with white jerseys. With blue BAD LUCK. Check record and performance since stoops has been coach

Listened to coach said basic coach speak. Would imagine the locker room talk was an ass whipping. That performance was not good.
While I agree it's silly, UF has just about banned the orange jersey's due to their bad luck.
Kind of like a train barreling down the tracks 5 miles out from a collapsed bridge... You're hoping that the bridge can be built in time,...you've convinced yourself that the bridge really isn''t broken (OL), and at the same time you're hoping' that the train can somehow jump that track (ie. beat GA, ALA, UT, Ms ST, etc.)

If we could schedule OVC teams all season it would be full of joy. Yeah I know, not OVC anymore. That doesn’t make it better.
On the one hand, good. Tune out the noise. That's fine.
On the other hand, if the team is happy with the performance today, that's a problem.
I agree....just don't have it thru 2 games (and like last year....we came out with major flaws on offense). We won't win @USC, Tenn, UGA, Bama....and I'd argue at Miss st and at Vandy will be likely split. Just major bitterness at the Oline, Leary doesnt' look like he processes the field that fast and now the RB looks like a major mess.
Stoops is the king of calling out what's wrong and then doing nothing to improve the next game. We're going to get bent over in SEC play
