Not bad strategy starting out, ETFs easier to manage, though.Very new to investing so I’ve been going heavier into mutual funds.
Thank you lz. I’ll definitely look into that. Gonna need to rollover a couple IRA’s too.Not bad strategy starting out, ETFs easier to manage, though.
Exactly what I did, have one with Schwab, another with Zacks, gives us two with various free research sites.Thank you lz. I’ll definitely look into that. Gonna need to rollover a couple IRA’s too.

Sold most of it, think we get lower buy prices later, JMO! NVDA comes out with eps later today, holding on, could get hit, but great company.^ That. lz - on TESLA...wow...very tempting to sale now and reap the profits. How you holding out so far????
My strong hand position is getting itchy to sale now....you?
Trying to keep the faith....but greed is a strong impulse.
Also, KNDI has been holding gains well as of today. Interesting.

I have not, Cramer spooks me away from Chinese companies, though I often don’t follow his advice. I have a little bit of overpriced AMD, let the other two you mention go, had too many in that sector. NVDA had an excellent eps seemingly, down a little post market by sellers likely anticipating a less than stellar report.Very good astute reasoning. I am with BR22s point that the crazies will keep pushing the price up right to the split date and a few days after. Time will tell. Nothing surprises me with TSLA.
I have never pulled the trigger on NVDA but as you say it is a solid company. But I am invested in AMD, MU and TSM so not worried about that sector now.
Have either of you looked at KNDI yet and decided to jump the shark on them? Its been good to me so far. Watching the China trade talks and agreements to keep me in or not.
If NVDA drops enough...I might jump on them. We will see.
I do not listen to Cramer at all. KNDI is solid...if Dems win in Nov....watch out ^^^ they will likely go. Time will tell.
Got a weird question.
Inlaw keeps telling me about a Cannabis/CBD company called Flora Growth and they're doing something called a Reg A+ offering. Anyone familiar with this company or investing type?

Had to look it up......never heard of it before. Never heard of the process nor the company.
I hear ya but happy to profit.I got in on NVDA about a year and a half ago at the advice of my financial planner. It was a good call. I'm up 160.29% on that investment. Wish I had put more into it.
It seems suspect.. and my BIL (to be), does go down the "get rich quick!" rabbit hole very easily. What is this cannabis company doing that others aren't? I guess going this route instead of an IPO? Is that a good thing. And how much can I feasibly get as a return? Ehh.
What’s the cannabis connection with SMG, Blue? I have IIPR, sold GTBIF, a Chicago area company expanding its stores, but will get back in that one if Biden wins, one of the few cannabis companies I like.In the marijuana industry, everything is a start-up.....and most will fold or be bought out. My thoughts is that if you're going to invest in individual companies, cast a wide net.......and aim for the big players.......Canopy Growth, Aphria, Cronos, GW............or just buy MJ (ETF) and forget about it.
......other indirect ways to get exposed to the sector is IIPR (REIT) and Scotts-Miracle Grow. Shoot, I think SMG might be the best way to go right now anyway. It has a nice little dividend that has been increasing over the last 10 yrs........and it actually has a nice overall growth history.

So I got some more information on Flora. It's, seemingly, buying internal stock, before they do an IPO. Minimum is $1,200, which gets you 1,600 shares at $0.75/share. The final day to buy is tomorrow. I guess there's talks of it getting to $80/share in a few years.
I have not bought yet, don't know if I will. Not sure I want to spend $1,200 on something like this.
But I have some of their material if anyone wants to look. I'd actually be curious to see what people think.

I still think my BIL to be sorta "bought in"..
It’s certainly interesting. I don’t know much about the Columbia market.
You never buy enough stock when it rally's and way too much when it's tanking.I only bought 6 shares, I wish I had bought more...

I took another small shot on goal with GRWG. They told an amazing story on Mad Money and it's coming back down from the stratosphere. Maybe I can get more lower soon. What’s the cannabis connection with SMG, Blue? You are about to own 24 shares.I only bought 6 shares, I wish I had bought more...
Not soon. How long do you guys think it will be before restaurant stocks begin paying dividends again?
