I expect Chris Lewis to be a good receiver.
Levis and Wan'Dale had a heck of a year. Robinson was the only NFL level talent on the field at receiver. Why wouldn't you get him the ball as much as possible?I think the concern about receivers at this point is a little premature. Levis got here late and didn't have a ton of time to get comfortable with everyone on the team.
I think Magwood is a budding star. He gets open and he will start making plays, I think going through the Spring and Summer building chemistry with Levis will be big for him.
Levis' growth will start making the receivers look better starting this year. For 3/4 of last year, Levis would either scramble or lock on with his primary. That started getting much better the last three games and should really get better in year two of running Coen's offense.
No argument there. My only point was that it's hard to judge what other guys were doing or not doing when the quarterback is primarily looking to one guy.Levis and Wan'Dale had a heck of a year. Robinson was the only NFL level talent on the field at receiver. Why wouldn't you get him the ball as much as possible?
Look up Craig Yeast’s frosh numbers. I think he had a TD reception against UF.Magwood was a true frosh. Gonna give him some slack.
Are you asking Magwood to be Craig yeast? Magwood did fine for his freshman year. He was an inch away from making a heck of a catch in the bowl game. Kid is a gamer. We are young at WR but have a lot of talent in that room.Look up Craig Yeast’s frosh numbers. I think he had a TD reception against UF.
Look at our stars from the last 50 years. They all “showed promise” early, but few truly shown their first year.
Read my post, again. I clearly said that most great players for us seldom have shown greatness as freshmen. Are you asking Magwood to be Craig yeast?
UK stats has Harris playing in 13 games with 12 catches for 150 yards and 1 TD. Magwood had one catch for 17 yards. The stat line for Magwood says he played 13 games. I am not sure that is correct.Magwood and Harris played in 8 combined games and had 12 catches between them
There is nothing to go by there, they didn't get targeted much at all to know if they would make an impact
Always destined to be an asinine take with your name attached
We haven't had many receiving stars the last 50 years.Look up Craig Yeast’s frosh numbers. I think he had a TD reception against UF.

Agree…I think he was a backup plan for CRod. His return makes him a low priority for this year.if they was sold on him think they would have closed the deal in the early
signing day.
think they sign two better running backs in next class now that C Rod returned.

Mfs can’t stay on topic for anything. So annoying. What in the world happened to this thread?
I am not sure what is confusing about my point. They did not play a combined 8 games (more like 26) and grouping them, as if they are the same, is misleading. Peace.DeMarcus Harris - Marshall Thundering Herd Wide Receiver - ESPN

Oh geeze I was off by a catch. Not sure what your point is. Both of them still had little to no run.
I wasn't the one grouping them as if they were the same, I said neither were targeted enough to make an impact and posted the evidence and that the receiver room would be just fineI am not sure what is confusing about my point. On3 dropped goodwin from 17 to ~158 and Aamil Wagner jumped up from like 150ish to a 5* (29th overall).Who's he talking about?
I’m glad to see Marrow calling out the nonsense. I’m not one who believes that analysts, scouts & recruiting services are out to get UK. But, there’s no denying that a lot of our recruits nosedive in the rankings after picking UK. What, exactly, did Goodwin do to fall from 17 to 158?! He dropped 141 spots & has done nothing since the last rankings were released besides play in a HS AA game. Barion Brown drops from 24 to 90 & all the reports I heard were that he was standing out in the AA game practices. I certainly didn’t hear anything that would justify such a dramatic drop for either player. Nik Hall dropped 98 spots & Fearbry fell 71, from 148-219. Afari & Keaten Wade were the only two who rose in the rankings. Goodwin’s free fall is just mind boggling & I’d love to hear On3’s reasoning.
None of these ratings matter, nor does it matter what websites do after a player signs with Kentucky. If the players play well at Kentucky and help build a better program, that matters. Trust Stoops. Dude, the stick is firmly up your ass as you paranoidly ascribe false motives to others. Your insecurity is showing.I wasn't the one grouping them as if they were the same, I said neither were targeted enough to make an impact and posted the evidence and that the receiver room would be just fine
And I posted the STATS that show they didn't play in a combined 26 games this past season
Take the stick outta your ***
Edit: you didn't even have a point other than attempting to correct someone and coming off as a demeaning pompous *** that wouldn't put in the effort to look up correct stats
Yell at a different cloud
Think their will not be any in the springPuts us in a tough position we may have missed a good opportunity to land a few big time transfers.
Noah Matthews is on an official visit starting today.Brad White is recruiting 6'5" 260# DE Noah Matthews from Bridgeville, DE. Coming from a small town in a small state, Matthews has been covered lightly and not formally evaluated by the internet services. Matthews is scheduled to visit Lexington this weekend. Matthews was committed to Weber State but decommitted. He was previously expected to commit to IL, but there are reports that he may commit to UK in the next week if his visit goes well and if Coach Stoops offers a scholarship while he is here. Presumably, we wouldn't be hosting him this late before the signing date without serious interest from both parties.
DE Noah Matthews from Bridgeville, DE.Just curious if anyone can share who the "surprise visitor" is on the Front Page?
Have not heard much about Lovett since his arrival. Safety is as a deep position this year. What have we heard about Lovett?
I’m generally of the opinion a lot of Atlantic coast prospects don’t get the attention/analysis of most players in places like the South East and Texas and Ohio.Matthews was 2A lineman of the year in DE. Durojaiye was 3A lineman of the year in DE. Would like to get a proven transfer on the DL so we have plenty of ready to play depth this season.
Yeah, leery about the competition and lack of attention compared to others. Just don't know what to expect.I’m generally of the opinion a lot of Atlantic coast prospects don’t get the attention/analysis of most players in places like the South East and Texas and Ohio.
He only has an offer from Weber State:Yeah, leery about the competition and lack of attention compared to others. Just don't know what to expect.
