Starting QB vs the Vols to be determined……

Ooooooooo......
UT won't know which QB to get ready for.......

Hammy and Stoops playing chess while Heupel out here playing checkers on an orange checkerboard.

Now, if Brad White can just figure out how to defend that wide receiver bubble screen that UT has scored against White and UK with the FIRST POSSESSION all 3 years that Huepel has been coach, we might have a chance to make it to halftime without getting blown out.....

Nah. We will play off the WR in a soft zone and rush 3 as always, trying to figure out what play UT is going to run, and BOOM, ANOTHER UT TD, probably on the first play they are on offense.......AGAIN!!!

SMH.

Whether it’s entirely his fault or not given our O-line play, I’ll admit that Brock hasn’t lived up to expectations this year. He’s still probably our best choice to try to win for this year though.

I just don’t understand the staff’s apparent fascination with Wimsatt at this point. He hasn’t improved at all compared to what was already a more than adequate sample size at Rutgers showing that he can’t pass the ball accurately at the power conference level, and for all the talk about his amazing running ability, he’s averaging 3.6 yards per carry. I just don’t understand what he’s bringing to the table.

If we want to score in this game it will be by defense. This will not be too close as UT offense is much better than UGA. UT will probably get about 80 snaps in this game. No confidence in coaching staff and will not watch the game or any highlights. Will check in here every now and again to see how bad things are at a point in the game.

HOPE UK pulls out some gumption and plays hard, plays smart and only loses by 21 points. Otherwise this could be like the Florida games with the Ole Ball Coach.

I hope not changing QBs every third play and RBs not named DSK every play are also on the table.

Won't matter, imo. UT will run up the score on us. They have a good defense to go with their offense that Brad White has yet to figure out how to defend. Their scoreless streak in the first half ends before the 10:00 mark in the 1st quarter.

I have no plans to watch that mercy killing.

As much as I'd like to see Boley, they're aren't likely to play him in more than 3/4 remaining games to keep his RS. Maybe that's relevant in the NIL world, but that's what I think will happen. I expect him to start/play a lot vs. Murray.

At this point, picking one or the other of those two is akin to choosing to stub your toe against the coffee table at 3 in the morning, or stubbing your toe on the steel frame side of your bed..there’s pain involved either way. What’s option 3?

Same here. I'll be at a hotel because going on a cruise Sunday so wife and son will out vote football anyways lol.

I may watch a quality game on my phone but evening slate is pretty weak. A and m vs sc may be good as a and m is the type to totally lose that game after last week's huge win lol.

It feels like it could be the reversion stoops..’let’s just run on every play’ response to a struggling situation. Its been his go to for years

Kentucky going to find it hard to get a big-time quarterback to come here and play ever again.
Brock Vandergriff has assured that.

They're not going to have the offensive line for you. You're not going to have time to throw the ball. You're going to make mistakes. They're going to play other players over top of you when that happens.
Nothing about the five star transfer has went well. Actually made things way worse.

Nowadays your guys can leave as soon as the season's over. Who knows if they can even keep the quarterbacks they have on the bench!

All NIL money and recruiting has to go towards offensive line and defensive lines first.
If they can't sack your quarterback he'll be effective.

Every decent qb recruit sans levis has been a bust in the stoops era. There is one reason for that... Mark Stoops and the shoddy offensive system he promotes. Most of these guys would be good to great in the correct system.

Either ride or die with BVG, or put Boley in and let him learn the hard way. He won't do us much good but at least he'd be learning for the future. Wimsatt, no. Coaches need to stop putting him in.
I'm against playing Boley behind this edition of the BigBlueWall... it risks causing much more harm than good.

Don’t know if it really matters…..

I don't think it matters. I've said this since the beginning of the season after watching BVG play a game or two, Wimsatt gives THIS team the best chance to win. Problem is, I have zero confidence in the offensive staff's ability to install an offense for him. They haven't been able to do that for BVG. BVG is obviously a one read qb and the line is atrocious pass blocking. Route trees are too complicated. Little to no screen game. Primary route, check down option, and run. Max protection. The entire offense should've been tailored to that. But hey, Hamdan needs players to fit his system. Complete trash.
