Yeah, part of me felt like he may had briefly flipped it back to UK though, so that's why I was a little confused.
As of now he's got UK landing Fox, Monk, and Bridges, three of the top 12 players in the 24/7 rankings. Would take that group in a heartbeat of course, but feel like we need at least one more to go with them to round out the class.

But he was right when he said UK would miss out on all the 5-star kids they did this Spring before Murray, unfortunately. Nobody thought Washington had a chance with Fultz until the day of his commitment.

I agree. I just tell myself to trust Cal. He took the risk of not "prioritizing" Fultz and now obviously Simmons -- and it seems he's OK without them -- IF he lands Fox, Monk and MAYBE Alkins.

I still go back to the comments he made a month or so ago saying "this could be his best class ever" -- and to me, that would have to be more than just Fox, Monk and Bridges -- right?

Agreed, when you factor in all the digging for dirt on UNCHEAT done by some of the NC State folks, it's both funny & poetic.

I know Matthews is mostly talked about with his defense, but i think he's a pretty crafty scorer as well. I don't expect a superstar talent with Wynyard, but i do believe he will be a decent big coming off the bench. Like you said, we will sign more than 3 players so it won't matter. If it ends up like this, i won't be too upset though.

It's really interesting what is going on with NC State. With UNC struggling, I think Adidas sees a real opportunity to make a power play with their lone Tobacco Road affiliate school.

I predicted Rawle to NC State as soon as he picked WOG. And yes - if the Pack lands Smith, Jr, and Bam, and Alkins, to go along with Rowan, etc., they wil challenge Duke next year.

I kind of love it because NC State fans are ultimately who brought down UNC, and the only thing that could be more unsettling to UNC fans than their own pending irrelevance, is watching NC State rise to prominence.
