Noticed a couple times during the game Skal does not have skinny arms. He seems to be working hard. Wiltjer has skinny arms. Just an observation. Don't know if it will help this season but he is working. A little petulent while playing. He has to control himself better...

I noticed that as well. Getting aggressive too. Oblivious not where he needs to be but he's not sitting still either.

Yes, I saw this as well. He looks like he'd be tougher. I do see an improvement in his strength in the paint. But he's got a long way to go yet.

Here he is before he got to campus for comparison. I don't think muscle is his problem.

I'd rather see him grow some b***s and an understanding of the game. Davis had string beans for arms and was one of the most effective players to wear the uniform.

I'll pass on the CC talk. You can have that peak...might take another look at Davis back then...a blind observation in any event...

Just went back and looked at his UK pics...you are wrong....

His legs are half the size of his arms and are not strong at all. His arms have nothing to do with him getting position.

I remember at summer camp, Cal going up to Skal jokingly and grabbing his bicep and Skal laughed and flexed and then Cal raised his shorts up on one side exposing his quad and then rolling his eyes looking at Skal like "wtf, are you f'ing kidding me?!"

Have to take the articles word but if Skal has that body and plays like he is I feel worse already...

I know it's hard to believe but why would Sports Illustrated 'shop Skal.

It was the skin tones that looked suspicious. Look at his face and neck compared to his shoulder or even his forearm. Could be legit, but I'm almost certain that photo is doctored.

Maybe all the good image folks were painting those swimsuits. Not bad work if you can get it, I'm sure.

His head do look different but I wonder why it was done if it was done......looks like some of KCP's work..it's that good...

Probably because he wears a shirt most of the time and his face and neck are getting more sun hence the darker skin tone than his torso.

Maybe if he wore long sleeves. Haiti is VERY hot. If a short sleeved shirt there is no tan line.

It's no big deal either way. That pic is just weird.

Getting position and being stronger in the post has nothing to do with how much weight you can preacher curl. He still has narrow shoulders, narrow hips, a weak core and a weak base. Biceps don't do much of anything in terms of functional basketball strength outside of looking pretty in a t-shirt.

Maybe he should try loading them with some bullets. An empty gun is useless, just a nice piece of workmanship without them.

I thought he looked pretty decent last night actually. He was set up for a few series perfectly. Thought of all the games that he got a lot of minutes and wondered why he got so few last night. He didn't rebound well but no one but frickin Ulis and Willis did really. But thought he posted up pretty well. Felt like that T hurt his confidence a bit but came back a dunked it like a bawse.

The results of Squatting and dead lifts haven't shown up yet. Ulis could easily get position on and block out Skal.
Ulis? I think my eight year old might be able.
This team is full of great kids. I hope they can turn the corner and not be remembered in such a poor way.

Skal doesn't need to carry a lot of bulk in college. It's his footwork and ability to get low to gain position! He plays too upright thus he gets knocked around all game long
