Not one of Cals draft day favorites but no one else is close to his court savvy and awareness.
Dude…… cmonHe’s white so you can’t say that. Talk about upside of the others.
Honestly wouldn’t mind that, if he plays like a lottery pick for 2 years we’re gonna win a looooot of gamesHe’s going to be a projected lottery pick I’m afraid. He is just as good as Tyler Herro was. He may stay another year just because he’s a legacy kid. But no way we have him more than 2, IMO.

TH is a few inches taller. 6’5 to 6’3
I think Reed is more athletic so it evens out but the NBA likes the height in a 2 guard.
Is this facetious bc he’s arguably the most active defender on the team. Cal himself said he has the best hands he’s ever seen which is why he gets so many deflections and stealsYeah but can he play defense…
🤨
Just playing on Cal’s over critical judgements on defense. Defense is very important but they dont give points for defense. Is this facetious bc he’s arguably the most active defender on the team. Great comparison! For slot of old timers, he plays with the same poise and calmness, shooting ability etc. Of Kyle Macy.
Exactly what I was thinking. Jimmy Dan Conner, Mike Flynn etc. Edwards and Wagner are great athletes. Shepherd is a basketball player.Great comparison!
And it ain't even close. Not one of Cals draft day favorites but no one else is close to his court savvy and awareness.
You don’t watch much NBA I guess. I can’t think of one person in the NBA built like REED. He will have to commit to rebuilding his body to have any chance at the NBA.He’s going to be a projected lottery pick I’m afraid. He is just as good as Tyler Herro was. No, I put him at number one because he seldom ever plays out of control. My only issue with him is that he isn't selfish enough at times. He as well as others need to learn not to pass the ball to DJ when there is little time on the shot clock.I put him as #2 right behind Dillingham. Those 2 are special!
I remember Vernon Hatton & Adrian Smith. For us old timers, he plays with the same poise and calmness, shooting ability, savy, etc. Of Kyle Macy.
I am 69. I don’t remember HattonI remember Vernon Hatton & Adrian Smith.
Totally agree might be a better shooter but NO ONE will be a better pressure free throw shooter imo.For us old timers, he plays with the same poise and calmness, shooting ability, savy, etc. Of Kyle Macy.
I think he is player Cal actually trusts the most this early in the season for the many things he brings to the court. He puts him at PG when he’s in the game with Wagner and Rob. I think that’s a sign Cal wants the ball in his steady hands. Not one of Cals draft day favorites but no one else is close to his court savvy and awareness.

Reed did give up 1 or 2 corner 3s so I was expecting Cal to turn, point and motion for a sub to make it obvious Reed was coming out. To my surprise, Cal did not.Just playing on Cal’s over critical judgements on defense. Defense is very important but they dont give points for defense.

He's Bird Like. Best player I ever saw. Not saying Reed on that level yet. But could be as far as instincts.Whether he leaves or not after this year or next is yet to be determined. But if you’re telling me he won’t be a projected lottery pick after next year at worst and this year at best, then I’ll gladly make a wager with you on it.
I don’t give a shit what the kid’s body looks like. He’s lethal. Complete player.
Yes but he also makes so many things happen at both ends he is super valuable. One thing I noticed was how obvious it was when Reed was out top how much more he spread their zone making it much easier for Mitchell to own the middle of the lane. I realize the opponent but when several others were on top the zone definitely sagged more.He did leave his dude open a few times
