Really..no reason for any of them to leave as OAD.

NBA 1st round puts some guaranteed 0’s on the back end of those checks.

First, I think NIL deals are very exaggerated. Second, every college athlete’s dream is to play professionally.

NIL is perfect reason for a borderline 1st rounder to come back. I have no clue where Reed will be projected by end of the year, but he won’t turn down NBA 1st round $ for college NIL $.

I said very early that DJ was our 3/4 best guard and some people on here brought I was nuts and laughed that I thought Reed was better. Lulz 🙄 One poster in particular argued with me for days over DJ. Even said he would come back to the thread end of year. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Reed was always brought up by everyone in all star games about who was the most underrated player there. Seems the players knew how good he was. He is amazing for real. I’m so glad we have him. He’s a winning player, does everything on the court.

I wonder what rat account @UK_Born_an_Bread is posting under now. He swore up and down Reed Sheppard was overrated and wouldn’t help until 2025 and Antonio Reeves would transfer in August. Big rat energy, too bad he went into hiding.

I totally forgot about Reeves transferring out still. Even after the season started too!

Obviously not sustainable when we start playing SEC level competition every game.

I can however see him shooting 50/40/90 splits this year. He’s that’s good shooting the ball.

He really needs to be a starter. Wagner needs to take a backseat. I really feel Wagner at this stage of the game is a liability to this team. High School and College is like night and day. Sheppard transitioned exceptionally well, and Wagner has taken steps backwards. Why Wagner is a starter puzzles me. You start your best players and obviously Sheppard should be a starter.

Shep is a bad man. He kind of has that Herro vibe: not afraid from day1, going to take big shots when they are there for him. He's going to put this team on his back a lot of nights.

I have said this same thing even before the season even started. There was a thread not long ago asking who is the go to guy when you need a basket at the end of the game. I said Shep and I fully believe it. Shep has so much basketball IQ and poised. Must run in the family.

Matt Jones who didn’t like Hero (obviously can’t play D he’s white) now won’t give Shep his do - says no way - Wagner or Edwards have to be the best players for this team to be good. Said it today on his show - just like his boy Calapari - who if Edwards scored 25 tonight would have talked 5 minutes about him - barely mentioned Reed with Leach

Matt Jones thinks highly of his own opinion. As does Ryan. That's where it ends. I guess if you're on the air that many hours you're going to say a lot of stupid things, but man he abuses the privilege.

The players that have impressed me are Sheppard, Dillingham, Reeves, Mitchell, and Thiero. Thiero's game vs. Kansas going 16 and 13 was outstanding game vs. Kansas. We just need Reeves to become consistent each game draining the 3 ball that he is capable of doing each game. We will see DJ and Edwards come around as the season progresses and having Bradshaw and Ivisic in the next week or two will make this team so much better. This team is so much deeper off the bench when you can bring in Sheppard and Dillingham and they score a combine 45 points in just 24 minutes of playing time. Kentucky has the potential when everyone is healthy to make a deep run in March to get to the final four and possibly a Championship this season!
