1. I'm not a troll. I'm an alum who was in the marching band and actually born in Lexington. 2. I'm not arguing for the sake of arguing. I'm arguing, because I don't like it when people are wrong, incorrect, incompetent. 3. I wasn't wrong. I said that coach Cal didn't have his players watch the game film/(highlight package made by Robic) which if you watch the game again you will hear the broadcaster say that the team didn't watch ANY film. So I was correct. Then the other guy says that coach Cal never has his team watch game film. I find a piece saying that coach Cal has his players watch 10 minutes of film at dinner. BOOM, what do you know, I was correct again. Then the guy's response is Robic watches the game film and the players just watch the highlight package that Robic makes up(so dude now is contradicting himself by saying the players watch a highlight film Robic made up). Dude is incompetent and doesn't realize that game film and highlight package are the same freaking thing. Both involve watching tape of the opposing team play. I'm glad that dude ignored me, it's one less incompetent person I have to listen to.@DwayneMeighan
No offense, but you're being trolled. He's arguing with you just for the sake of arguing with you. He knows damn well that the staff (specifically Robic) watched the film.
Notice in his very first post that I quoted, he says "Maybe Cal will actually have his players watch game film before the final four game and championship game this year." No mention of the staff.
And then in his second post to me he says "But it is a fact that he made a mistake when he didn't have his players watch game film." Again, no mention of the staff.
Once he was shown how ridiculous he sounded, he did what all trolls do and completely changed his argument to fit his agenda. He has no other purpose here but to bash Cal by any means necessary.
Actually, they're not. When Cal says the players don't watch any game film, he's not talking about the 10-20 highlight package from Robic. They always watch that. He doesn't consider that "watching game film"Dude is incompetent and doesn't realize that game film and highlight package are the same freaking thing.

I find it very telling that Self is already saying that Bragg will be a multiple year player.
I was just quoting you. You said just because Coach Rupp only played for the Jayhawks that doesn't make him a Jayhawk. I disagreed with you. We have exchanged posts before on other thread. You have been critical of my statements that Coach Rupp and Coach Calipari were part of Kansas basketball history. I was not then, or am not now, trying to minimize their impact on Kentucky basketball history.
You had said that not many people knew that Rupp was a Jayhawk. Maybe many UK fans didn't know that, I will take your word on that. But, that doesn't change the fact that he was a Jayhawk.
And like I said, hopefully you get to see Kansas move past schools like Louisville in championships and prestige before the ole dirt nap. I know lots of past Kansas fans never got to see what Rupp and UK did in 1951, win a 3rd title. That's how much of a joke you are to UK fans.
Stand with Louisville, look at the back of Uconn, and stfu. Having a "neat" arena, copying UK, playing in a lot of games, does NOT make you a blue blood. I never include Kansas as a blue blood, I don't want to bring down the collective best with Kansas mediocracy.
BUT WE PLAYED IN LOTS OF GAMES!!!!
You will always follow big step bro UK. we are the standard, oh jealous chap.
You forgot to include the Holy Grail of KU basketball accomplishments - the 11 conference championships in a row.
Not only Self, but Bragg isn't listed on any of the 2016 Mock NBA drafts. Not right to push out a kid if they are only going to sign with the D-League. He should stay.
I know you a 'll are trying to be funny. But should the goal really be to see how many kids can be drafted only to end up playing in the D-League? Again why push a kid (s) out when they are not ready?
Self's McDonald's All-Americans don't end up not getting drafted or panning out in the NBA, they just run out of time.
Sincerely,
Wayne Simien - Injuries
Josh Selby - Shouldn't have left early (see Harrison twins)
Cliff Alexander - NCAA eligibility issues did not allow him to showcase
Micah Downs - Played at Gonzaga
Xavier Henry - Injuries
Wayne Selden - Still in school
Elijah Johnson - Wasn't a McDonald's all-american
JR Giddens - Went to New Mexico because of off court issues. Was recruited by Roy.
Julian Wright - Never really had any basketball skill. Played in the NBA for several years despite this.
Russell Robinson - Wasn't a McDonald's AA.
Aaron Miles - Was a Roy recruit.
Sherron Collins - Weight problems. You cannot coach eating disorders and self control.
etc etc
Go back n watch... MKG saved our ass.IIRC we basically dominated that game in 2012 (and I do recall correctly), he wasn't close.
I meant Darrell Arthur instead of Selden. that is my bad.
Forgot Cole Aldrich too.
the rest of those excuses are really pathetic.
Russell Robinson was an 2003 Parade AA. His wiki page says he was McD AA but looks like that is wrong.
Elijah Johnson was a consensus top 20 recruit for sure, so same thing as McD.
Fact is he played at UK and is the all star he is today. Opinion is he could have done that anywhere.
Another opinion is if Davis played at KU is would be on the list above of McD's AA that have flamed out of the NBA like the other KU players.
I don't mind KU fans talking about ties Calipari and Rupp have to KU. Everyone knows where there success happened and it wasn't KU. KU fans realize this and want some of that good UK success to build up their lack of success.
Not only Self, but Bragg isn't listed on any of the 2016 Mock NBA drafts. Not right to push out a kid if they are only going to sign with the D-League. He should stay.
None were as highly rated as the majority of players who played at Kentucky and none were expected to be anything other than role players in the NBA. Is your argument that if Anthony Davis had played for Self at KU that he wouldn't be the NBA all-star he is today?
Why are you following me? I post here all the time, maybe not as much as some KU fans but still a regular.Clive, good to see you posting again!
You haven't even seen him play yet in a college game and you're already saying he should stay?
It appears Coach Self has successfully brainwashed you Jayhawk fans into thinking guys should stay and "develop."
Very few KU recruits are able to go early due to development while in college.
Self and KU doesn't have a great track record of producing pros.
Under Self, their players seem to reach the peak of their careers when winning a Big 12 championship. They flame out in the tournament and then the NBA.
They are proof that top recruits can't "go anywhere' and succeed in the NBA.
