Scariest Movie You’ve Ever Seen?

Idiocracy. I know,it's supposed to be a comedy but it's coming true. That's terrifying.

The Mothman Prophesies with Richard Gere was a creepy one.

Yeah that came out while I was in highschool I think. And the part where it got me the worst was when Ingrid Cold tells him he has chapstick in his hand. The sound in that movie was pretty spooky with all the dread surrounding the town. I had to take my girl to go see the ring and that actually was pretty good theater exp. So was Stir of Echoes but it wasn’t really horror

It's more in the "Thriller" category, but The Talented Mr. Ripley might be the creepiest and most uneasy, anxiety-inducing movie I've ever seen.

I don't really get scared by the typical horror flicks. I love them actually.

I don't find anything particularly scary unless it seems like something that could happen in real life.

So I would say...

The Strangers is one that definitely left me feeling uneasy. A little less likely but the The Devil's Rejects is one that could keep me up at night.

Then there are movies like The Shallows....realistic shark movies are ehhh... horrifying.
