Can the player with possession of the ball be called for an illegal (moving) screen?
Nearly every team is running their offense with the 5 at the top of the key. This exact scenario happens several times throughout almost any game you watch.
Big man catches the ball at the top of the key.
Guard cuts off the big man.
big man pivots into the guards defender, sometimes knocking the defender down but almost always creating separation between the guard and the defender,
big man hits the guard on the open cut.
If there is no way that the player with possession can be called for it I feel like it will be something that is going to be discussed in the off season as potential rule change.
