Look I hate UT, but I don’t understand this mode of thinking. My guess is that JH will have QB’s from the portal beating down his door to transfer there to showcase their skills in that offense.

Let’s get something straight, this isn’t gimmicky Hawaii of the Colt Brennan years, or Washington St under Leach, Boise St with Statue of Liberty stuff, etc. JH and UT are putting up these numbers in the SEC, and against the best in the SEC (Bama and LSU, so far).

Id say find a serviceable QB to replace Hooker will be the least of JH’s worries. In fact, his biggest issue there is he will likely have to turn down some really good QB’s because he’ll have so many wanting to play there.

No, I’m afraid UT has it rolling. Kentucky has to make changes and bring an actual exciting brand of football or get left behind……AGAIN.

Dead on. Sure it’s uptempo and not “pro-style” from a reads and adjusting at the LOS standpoint. But they aren’t dink and dunk. Hooker had had every opportunity and then some to showcase his arm talent to stretch the field, fit it in tight windows, throw a deep out to the wide side of the field etc. His biggest hurdle from a draft standpoint is his age

WIN OR LOSE he's either going to Oklahoma or he's going to the NFL at the end of this season. there ain't a damn thing Tennessee can do about it.
