Robert Morris starting PF transfers, great fit for us. Robert Morris gave much problem to Bama in first round. 14pts+9reb+3ast+41%3pt per game

The way he moves in those clips is really reminiscent of Grant Nelson to me. He doesn’t quite have the same size as Nelson, but he appears to be a more consistent shooter. Seems like he’d be a really good fit to plug into Carr’s spot if we could get him.

He looks like combination of Nelson and Carr with smaller size, I will take it everyday

6-9 is enough for PF

Think he and Carr are already similar caliber player now

Probably a good fit. Shoots well and passes well.

Probably needs to add some weight. 215 on a 6’9 frame is a little sleight for an SEC 4 man. Add 10 lbs. of muscle this summer and then we’re talking.

Overall, I like the upside. Two years of eligibility left.

He at least has tournament experience.

Listed at 215 but looks bigger. Wouldn't surprise me if he's closer to 230 already.

4 man who can shoot, pass, rebound, defend. Player of the year for his conference, best player on a tournament team that competed with Bama.
Also this stat doesn't mean everything but he lead his conference in both offensive and defensive rating. Not many people across the country doing that.

He's a winning player.

Being a coach at a mid major must be maddening. You get a kid that can make your life easier after you developed him, and he leaves.
It used to be that the focus was trying hard to land a McDee AA. The portal has changed recruiting so that McDees are a big deal, but not nearly as big as in the past. Now, landing the previously over looked player who starred at a mid-major is probably as big, if not more.

When it comes to a Big man, we need to look at that assist stat. That is critical here, especially if BG is back. We need someone that can fill the role in the offense that Williams plays now. I don’t think BG will do that next season. I could be wrong, but he’s not as good in the high post as a distributor. We need a guy that is an accurate passer that can initiate the offense like Williams.

This guy has assist rate over 20%

(Amari Williams is around 18% I think)

Just watched the RMU vs. Bama game. Folgueiras got embarrassed a ton on defense. Held his own a couple times. Hoping it's more than just not having the athleticism to contest lob passes and PnR. Good fit for Pope, but we might want to get a shot blocking specialist at C.

Comparing six of the big men it seems that Cluff, Davidson and Folgueiras might be the better players overall.

Nick Davidson: 6-10 forward, 15.8 pts, 6.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 37% from the three.

Oscar Cluff: 6-10 center, 17 pts, 12 rebounds, 19 double doubles, #2 overall defensive ranking and top 40 offensive ranking.

Hannes Steinbach: 6-9.5, Fiba U18 averaged 16 pts, 13 rebounds, high motor, great hands and high IQ.

Reed Bailey: 6-10 forward, 18 pts, 6 rebounds, 41.5 three point shooter.

Owen Freeman: 6-10 245, 16.7 pts, 6.7 rebounds and 35 blocks before injury.

Alvaro Folgueiras: 6-9 215, 14.1 pts, 8.9 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 43.3 three point shooter.

Cluff really sticks out to me with his defensive ranking, rebounding ability and a fine offensive player. Steinbach is also intriguing with his offensive instincts, high motor and rebounding ability.
