Think we have to at least get a visit scheduled first before we start to "feel good"
Reeves comes back, get Kaluma, Burks, and Somto and fans will still bitch its not enough. Patience grasshoppers. Breath in, breath out, it will all be ok. Until we get guys and you need a new narrative to bitch, it's what miserable and never happy fans do. Move on to the next OMG the sky is falling issue.

Honestly, I just want Reeves and maybe Somto to be a true center (in the event Ugo can't play the 5). Everything after that is a bench piece. We'd have 2 PGs, 2 SGs, a mix of Forwards, and 2 centers. You'e not going to convince a 4-star player to come be the 10th guy and only give him 5-8mpg.
I was going to say we maaaaybe could us another 4. But I also wouldn't be opposed to smaller lineups in the event Bradshaw isn't the guy or gets hurt.
Otherwise we need to convince a true PF to come here, when it might only mean 15 mpg. Because so long as Bradshaw is at least close to his ranking, he's going to play. And recruits know that.
Edit: But after that other 4.. that's about all we need. We don't need a 4th wing, 3rd pg, or a 3rd center: other players will be able to shift around as needed. And if we ever sustain THAT many injuries, then it's simply just a lost season. Bench players aren't going to win you a title. This isn't a sport where you can just sustain 2-3 key injuries and expect to compete.

I have more confidence in UKO at the 5/C, than Bradshaw at the 4/PF.
So to me, if we can't get a good 4/5 who can play both, I think a 4/PF is the higher priority after adding/returning a 3pt shooter.
Yeah, but....some of Bradshaw's minutes probably will come at the 5/C. Do I think he's too weak there? Yes. But I think he is at the 4/PF too. So I think Kaluma or equivalent may see 25mpg at the 4/PF.
But, in this pretend scenario, we get Somto to be our 5 with Ugo. And then Bradshaw can play the 4 exclusively. Obviously that depends on getting Somto.
The problem here is that while yes.. some of our freshman likely won't be up to the task, but we just don't know who. And so long as they aren't "bust" worthy, they are going to get minutes.

I thought he had 37 points @ Arkansas last season. He may have shot poorly from behind the arc, but he sure was instrumental in helping the team get out with a win.
Need to lock up Reeves, add Kaluma from the portal, get Cyril to reclass and come here, add Burks and Hart for depth.

So it sounds like we really need Cyril to reclass and come here. We have only two guys who can play inside and one of them wants to play (and is probably better suited to play) on the perimeter.
If Bradshaw at the 4 and Onyenso at the 5 is all we have, it’s going to get ugly.
Hopefully, we can at least get Cyril and can have him splitting time with Onyenso at the 5.
And I guess Thiero and/or Burks (if he comes) can play a small ball 4 when Bradshaw needs a break or is in foul trouble.
