Reds

Elly's attempted steal of 3rd last night was his third base running gaffe in the last couple of games. Your down 6-0 with 2 outs in just the 4th inning and getting to 3rd doesn't do anything. Friedl walked on the pitch and that would have been 2 runners on.

I know he has the green light but someone may want to help him w/ situational baseball fundamentals. Oh wait...that would require coaching from this team.

So Reds basically stand pat. Interesting.
kinda figured they would. I think they're just banking on most of the injured guys, McClain, CES, etc. coming back. in the spring and next season being what they hoped this one would be, but we all know how that goes. Next year it will be a whole other slew of injuries that take them out of contention. I honestly don't know what the deal is, the Reds seem to annually be the most injured team in all of baseball.

Don't know about the Reds being "most injured", lots of teams battling injuries but Reds have very narrow margin because FO won't stockpile team with MLB players, depending on 4A/3A players instead. Failure to take advantage of a strong outfield class in the just concluded trading period and doing nothing to build Reds OF was criminal. But the owner's son got promoted so all's well.

I know lots of teams battle injuries, but it seems like a chronic issue with the reds. Like year to year to year. I cant remember the last time they fielded their intended opening day starting lineup in full with all members healthy.

Time to move him up so he can get experience at AAA and have a shot to make the rotation out of Spring Training. When you choose to build teams with young rosters and trade veterans, then you need to maximize these small windows to compete in and take a chance on a blue chip prospect like Rhett Lowder.

Snell cruising with a no-hitter through 6.

Demoted Rece Hinds for this putrid performance by the Reds offense. Bell put a recently DFA'd Ty France in the cleanup spot with his horrendous .221 batting average which is sadly on par with about everyone on the team except India & EDLC on the season. This team will continue to be a joke as long as the dunce David Bell is leading the charge and they don't go get some offense in this bandbox of a ballpark.

What a shit joke. No-hit in your home ballpark on 114 pitches by Snell!!!

Bell and Joel McKeithan need to be relieved of their duties immediately. Sick and tired of an ownership group that doesn't give a damn about winning along with the incompetence from management in the dugout. Golden Boy Krall needs to fall on the sword for the lack of depth throughout this entire roster and just sits on all of the prospects in the minors without trying to improve the team this season.
