Don't disagree and not disappointed with him, just pointing out he still has some improvement needed. The better he gets the better we are.Elly has improved in every single offensive category this year. If you'd like, Ill be happy to post the improvements. Its a helluva lot more than "somewhat."
They’ve been better about that in June. What I’m seeing now is them pulling out wins in the first couple of games of a series, then get the snot beat out of them in the third, like this Yankees series. They have done that a lot this year. Will win 2 or 3 and then lose as many or more. At least they are 3 over .500 so...
As far as EDLC, yeah somewhat. Still one of the leaders in strike outs and still making too many errors. If he cleans that up...
Elly has improved quite a bit. Average is up. Strikeout percentage has dropped nearly 10 percentage points from when he first came up in 2023. His R vs L batting numbers are starting to be more balanced. His defense needs some work still, but I will always continue to think he should be playing CF with the ground he’s able to cover and his arm. I think his height inhibits his ability to get down on balls. We all know they’ve drafted or traded for enough capable shortstops in the system that a move to CF could be made and would probably improve them defensively.Don't disagree and not disappointed with him, just pointing out he still has some improvement needed. The better he gets the better we are.
