Just updating everyone on some of the recent offers sent out by the Kentucky football coaching staff.
Cody Bowes - Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas standout offensive lineman. He's got two dozen offers or thereabouts but not the kind that are going to automatically scare schools away. Tennessee's one of his bigger offers and Kentucky's now on the list. He's 6-foot-3, 268 pounds, so he doesn't have quite an ideal frame and may be more of a guard although he's listed as a three-star tackle.
Speaking of offensive linemen, two teammates from Charlotte (N.C.) Mallard Creek that we recently profiled: Eric Douglas (6-foot-4, 275 pounds) and TJ Moore (6-foot-4, 270 pounds) are offered. As we've said, at least Moore is planning to attend the Cats' next junior day at the start of March. Can't confirm Douglas' plans for that event. There does seem to be some mutual interest.
D.J. Eliot is recruiting both of the above players, FWIW, and he's now assigned the areas of Washington D.C., North Carolina and Tennessee in Kentucky's recruiting efforts.
Davondre Robinson - "Tank" is the nickname for this 6-foot, 190-pound safety from Santee (S.C.) Lake Marion. Clemson, Georgia, Michigan, Penn State, Tennessee -- just some of the schools that have also offered.
