Can somebody explain to me again why we haven’t gone hard after him? Yes, I’m sure there are RBs playing better competition in hotbed states, who are bigger and faster and have been graded with more stars, but he’s no doubt a winning, clutch player vs good competition:

“Forget the state of Kentucky — the Boyle County Rebels might just be one of the best teams in the entire country. Justin Haddix led his team into challenging territory on Saturday against St. Edward (OH), which came into the game ranked No. 27 in the nation and the best school in Ohio by the Massey Ratings. The Rebels were predicted to get smacked by the computerized stats, calling for a 40-8 loss.

But Boyle County — the four-time defending Class 4A champion — was the one dishing out the beatings. Behind an impressive two-way performance from West Virginia commit Montavin Quisenberry, the Rebels came away with a 38-21 road win. Quisenberry finished with four touchdowns as Boyle scored 17 unanswered points after halftime to steal the win.

He’s the best player in Kentucky,” St. Edward coach Tom Lombardo told Cleveland.com’s Matt Goul.

St. Edward had won 20 straight games against teams from outside Ohio before Saturday. But that streak came to an end as Boyle County extended its overall winning stretch to 23 straight games. The Rebels were already the unanimous choice as KSR’s No. 1 team in Kentucky before this upset — they won’t be going anywhere come Monday’s update.”
