How is the construction to Rupp Areana and the convention center coming? My wife wants to drive fron Sellersburg Indiana to take a look. Would we see anything new if we took the trip? We haven't been to Lexington since the last home football game.

Just drove by it yesterday. Look up what the OK City bombing building looked like and it's identical. No exaggeration.
Definitely agree, it is not worth the trip. The convention is just a pile of rubble and broke glass. If you really want to know what it looks like, I can snap a picture for you when I go back to work on Wednesday.
Will the parking lot across the street from Rupp still be there? I don’t get to go to games very often but it seems like I’ve never had trouble getting a good parking spot, unlike attending football games.
Will there be good available parking now or will it be a pain like football? I would usually get there a couple hours before game time and hang out around the shops until the doors open to go into Rupp.
I’m sorry. I just got back on here for the first time since my last post. Had family in town. I am heading down there around 1900 tomorrow, I’ll be sure to drive by and get you a picture.
yep, it's still not worth a trip. Total demolition mess down there. Unless you just want to see what the old Civic Center looks like as a pile of rebar and concrete.
