Do you think Ulis is a 4 year player?
That would be huge for the Cats but especially for your fanbase. It's been a long time since you guys could really enjoy Sr. Day.

For your sake as a Vandy fan, you'd better hope not. A senior Tyler Ulis has to be a scary thought for any non-UK fan.
Ulis will make a great addition to the right team in the NBA. He would get a million assists and be a fan favorite.
Ulis will be a lottery pick this year. However, to have a really strong pre-season predictable shot at the National Championship next season we need him to return.
Fox looks excellent but we certainly should know historically by now that Freshman point guards have a significant learning curve.

If Ulis comes back, I'm heading to Vegas and putting whatever I can afford on Kentucky winning it all. I would be more confident in that team winning it all than any team under Cal and I think that is saying a lot.
You could throw Willis in that questionable size category.

Spot on. I have been saying this all season. Fox is great but he will need time to adjust to the college game. That will be in the form of some losses.
Has he been projected as a lottery pick by anyone? Just curious, because I haven't seen that anywhere.
I would love it. I'm not scared of UK, I enjoy UK being good.
I hope for UK's fanbase that y'all get to enjoy a kid as good as Ulis is for four years for a change.

It would be nice as fans. We also don't mind seeing the kids that brought us joy/entertainment get rewarded for their hardwork and talent in the form of millions of dollars. If that means that we don't get a senior night to send them off, that's okay too.
Ulis won't be a lotto pick.. But he could sneak into the end of the first round.. I'd say anywhere from 25-35 would be a good guess.. And this year would be his best bet to do that.. Next year's class is loaded and it possibly could cost him some spots due to that.. Now if he stayed for his senior year,, I have not a nerry clue about that draft class.. If he doesn't go this year,, very possible he stays all 4 years..

It's hard to say enough good things about those two guys. The main thing both had is tremendous heart, and love of the game. Ulis was an immediate favorite last year. At 5'9" myself it's great to see a guy his size being such an amazing basketball player. I'm not sure though because of his stature he'll ever be a first round pick, but somebody is going to give him a shot a the next level. Personally I think he'll make the best of it. As for what he's going to do, who really knows. He probably doesn't yet, but I believe he will come back for at least one more year.
I'd add Eric Daniels to that mix as well.
Tony Delk wasn't shooting guard size either but his arms helped. Chuck and Tyler are locks. Kenny Walker played much larger than his position called for his JR and Sr. years too.
I think Cal told Tyler that he needed to come here and know that he would be an early entry just like the rest of the greats we've had. He was right, as he is most of the time.

I disagree, the draft next year will be stronger by a wide margin. Ulis will stay second round but may sneak in the first round this year maybe.

Talent wins titles and great talent rarely sticks around for 4 years.
Myself I see Ulis gone after this year. His stock is higher now than it will ever be. I don't see him growing in height anymore and what if he came back and got hurt. I can see him going late 1st round.
Ulis is gone as he goes out as an All-SEC/All-American.

I doubt Ulis returns, but the vision of a 3-guard lineup with Ulis, Monk and Fox... well, we can dream, can't we?
If Ulis will be a second rounder no matter when he comes out then what is the rush? What's wrong with a kid playing 4 years of college basketball getting his degree and then going to the NBA and trying to make a team. If you are a second round player there is no guaranteed money or even making a team. If he is projected 1st rounder then things are different. Still don't see the rush unless you are a lottery pick. It's almost frowned upon now if a player stays 3-4 years before going to the league.
