Don't look now, but Arkansas is averaging 69 ppg through their first three games.

To hell with Z. He didn't wanna be at UK. He picked Arkansas.
I'll take Williams and Garrison over that big soft Z anyday.

What really burns my biscuits is UK fans were all over the NCAA about letting big Z play. UK fans paid for that billboard right outside NCAA headquarters saying Free Big Z and that's the thanks we get?

Exactly. That's why it's so baffling to me. He literally could've had an all sec first team if he stayed and played under Pope.n

No idea where the truth actually lies, but

I remember reading at some point that Z and/or Thiero may have been interested in staying, but Pope may have encouraged all Cal players to move on.

I guess Arky fans don't like going to games they perceive as "automatic wins"

I'm sure it's always been like this the attention just has been dialed up.

Happens a bit to us too. I remember going to see the 2015 team play Buffalo at Rupp with my brother on a Sunday and there weren't a lot of people there.

And two of those opponents have included Lipscomb and Troy.

In all seriousness, I think they've got some real issues. Thiero, Knox, and Richmond are redundant players. Fland, Wagner, and Davis are ball-dominant redundant players. Most of these guys can't shoot to save their lives.

I really wish Big Z had stayed with Pope. He looked good last night and would have been perfect for Pope's system.
I don't they left our program after giving them the opportunity to stay let the blind lead the blind geez quit slobbering over what could have been and get off the fence the sun is shining bright on UK it has come out of darkness and I am on that train and rolling down the track

Yeah, plus I prefer big men who dislocate shoulders when they set picks, over 200 pounders.

Geez, in 37 minutes, Wagner had 0 points, on 0/4 shooting (0/2 from 3). He’s looking like a four year guy who should come off the bench.

It will be great when Knox leaves after accomplishing absolutely nothing.
Is Knox the younger brother of Kevin?

They have "first-weekend tournament exit" written all over them.

Ironically, they could have desperately used a guy like Brea instead of having three guys who are basically the same player (Davis, Wagner, and Fland).
Remember having Briscoe, Murray, and Ulis playing at the same time? Never made any sense regardless of ball handling.

Serious question about Ark/Cal. I know they're dealing with injuries right now, and that seemed to become a bit of a theme at UK the last several years. Do you think that's due to just bad luck, the way Cal practices/conditions his players, or an over-cautious approach with how they handle injuries? To me it feels like they don't try to have players play through any kind of injury. Tweak an ankle and you're out 2 weeks, no trying to tape it up and play through it. Maybe that's the best approach overall? He's so secretive with injuries it's hard to judge.
