I know that excellent explayers don't always make the best coaches, but...I'd sure like to see Woodyard get this. Early thirties and mature beyond his years. Very personable and maybe one of the t5 hardest working guys to every play at UK. Think he would hit the ground running . Just my 2 ccents.

You have a higher opinion of Brian Kelly than I do . I agree with everything else though.

You know how many points LSu will score with Kelly there? He never recruited receivers like what LSU gets on the reg. ND probably doesn't have 3 receivers on their team that would even find the 2 deep in a 4 wr set.

Although I wonder if Stoops considers an ex-LBer he might look at Courtney Love. He’s already on staff, personable, and a Stoops guy.

I would love this if he’s got the desire to get into coaching and Stoops believes he handle the job.

Woodyard had said he'd love to coach at UK at some point, but he's not exactly making efforts to get into coaching at any level as of yet. I think he is doing real estate with his wife or something like that these days. He's only 35 so there's a lot of time for him to venture into that. He may be holding out to see if any team will pick him up for another year or two.
