Like I said, running Cal off wouldn’t attract a tier 1, tier 2, and Pope is a boardline tier 3 candidate.
This was always where we were headed.

And we didn’t run Cal off. He left of his own accord. Hell we didn’t even threaten to fire him.Like I said, running Cal off wouldn’t attract a tier 1, tier 2, and Pope is a boardline tier 3 candidate.

Nobody has been run off. A family man chose family and a guy with a 1% chance didn't bite. People act like a dozen guys said no for no reason at all. Panic ensuing for no reason.Like I said, running Cal off wouldn’t attract a tier 1, tier 2, and Pope is a boardline tier 3 candidate.

Yet here we are, looking down the barrel of Mark Pope. This is what we get for running off a HOF coach. We could’ve let him leave on his own terms but the fan base doesn’t realize what universe we live in now. This isn’t 2008 where a big bag of money solves all your problems.I wish the OP would go to Fayetteville to caress Cals balls, where he belongs.

obviously the top 1-3 tier coaching fraternity looks at it differently than UKWildcats1987. Not a single sniff from those coaches. But yet “We can buy whoever we want. We’re Kentucky…”He did leave on his own you goober.
Obviously you do, because you quoted and responded, mouth breather.“Like I said”- Dude you are a 20 post nobody with weeks old account here.
Nobody here gives a F what you said.
This right here and a fickle fanbase. No amount of money is going to get top coaching talent.Bottom line is nobody wants to work for Mitch Barnhart.
He wanted to leave in 2019. We have some morons on this boardYet here we are, looking down the barrel of Mark Pope. This is what we get for running off a HOF coach. You don’t pay attention. We didn’t run him off. He resigned basically because he violated his contract . But he did deserve to be run off.Yet here we are, looking down the barrel of Mark Pope. Do you think the fans ran him off? Or were you laughing at the "Made for March" part?Nobody ran John 'Made for March' Calipari off.
.
This fanbase constant bellyaching and complaining about his coaching style, how much his buyout is, how we could do better, all of the negativity we put out there ran him off. He didn’t want to be here because we’re a toxic fanbase. The coaching fraternity sees it and that’s why we’re getting turned down the top coaches we want. You don’t pay attention.
