Im still pissed off about the horse probably getting put down. Not surprising idiots from Chicago have no idea on how to take care of horses. Maybe its because I grew up with horses, but my god anyone with any knowledge seeing that guy push that horse that hard on pavement knew what the consequences of that horse were going to be.

Forcing a horse to gallop for 7 miles on pavement without shoes is asking for trouble (shouldnt do it with shoes either because the lack of traction). A walk and trot is what is recommended if you have to ride your horse on pavement, horses arent meant to run for long periods of time on hard surfaces.

That horse was probably in unbelievable pain from its feet, which caused it to overwork itself to try and run that distance. That was straight up animal cruelty.

The whole originalist/textualist/Federalist Society movement owes most if not everything to him. That movement has nearly taken over conservative jurisprudence. Entire generations of lawyers and judges have been influenced by Scalia.

Ginsburg, by contrast, wasn't influential - she was inspirational.

By the way, there's a ton of stuff I know little about, but I do watch Supreme Court matters and politics. And what's amazing to me is how Ginsburg's celebrity happened so late in life. Like, in the last 5 years. Sure, all through her adult life, those in legal circles knew and appreciated her. But I'm talking mainstream celebrity, where an RGB doll shows up in some drama or movie. That's all very recent. I can't think of anyone else who was over 80 when they became someone who had inspired people for 50 years. heh.

I do, I think it was all political and mismanaged. 2-4 weeks into lockdown, it was clear we should’ve opened back up entirely.

The reason we didn’t was deaths would be blamed on Trump for not following the so-called science, and they‘ll use this for needed restructuring of the economy to not be dependent on China and separate the wheat from the chaff in other areas. Going the Sweden route would’ve been terrible politically.

Same could be said about this BLM nonsense, could’ve clamped Down immediately and stopped all this violence, but it would be too easy to call him a racist fascist by these idiot racist anti-racists and would also lose politically.

Best case scenario imho, this turns in to four more years of Trump and an American renaissance. Worst case, Biden dems somehow cheat their way into total power and they make all the problems they created worse, and much more with their chit unAmerican ideology that needs to be destroyed.

Hey my little high school went to Middlesboro and beat them 26-25 with Lee Majors playing for them, but he might have only been the two dollar man then.
