That plaza at Beaver Dam was there when I was a kid in the late 70's early 80's. We would stop at it when going to visit my great Granmother in Morgantown. It's a Huck's now. I've stopped there several times when travelling to Paducah for work. I think the WK Parkway was actually a toll road back when I was a kid.
