Buddy of mine in High School back in the 80’s and his Dad were big into building street rods. His dad went up to Delaware and bought a 69 Olds Cutlass 442 and brought it home. They rebuilt it into a street rod that they could drag race out at Ohio Valley Raceway. It was sweet. Got to ride in it a few times. He may still have it for all I know. I loved it when his Dad would pick us up from school in his 1930 Model A sedan street rod.
‘79 TBird was my first car. Bought it from my dad for $800. I think the hood alone was longer than the whole Sonata I drive today. That car was a behemoth.
