My SIL is a Japanese national who is going thru the process to get a Green Card to work here permanently (18 mths and counting... which is RIDICULOUS).
Anyway, I recd a form from the govt today stating that I will be financially responsible for him. As such, the feds require all my personal info: income, net worth, tax returns, etc.
I'm happy to provide it... but in light of the illegal immigration problem... it's a fvcking joke.

Never has it been more obvious that the unelected Biden rulers wanted to overwhelm our country with illegal immigration. This should be repeated over and over as we head into the midterms.

The founders held widely differing religious beliefs, but they were united in their enlightenment beliefs. If you have any doubt about Mr. Adams thoughts on the matter, you can refer to the Treaty of Tripoli, read and signed by Adams. It declared "The government of the United States is in not in any sense founded on the Christian Religion" This treaty passed unanimously in the Senate. Boom. Game over. But there's so much more.
The Founders had every opportunity to acknowledge that our nation was founded on Christian principles or to say that our Constitution is based on the Bible. If they were deeply religious people. authoring laws based on Christian principles, they would have surely credited the Bible and the Christian Religion. They did not. The only hint of the word "Church" is in the first amendment of the Constitution, the one that guarantees. Freedom from Government enforced Religion. Ironic that they chose to install this protection in the very first Amendment of the Constitution. You can see what their priorities were.
Jefferson could have made reference to "God Almighty", or our "Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" in the Declaration of Independence.. He carefully and diplomatically chose the vague phrase "their Creator" echoing his personal beliefs. He didn't even say, "our Creator" or "The Creator" because that would imply the existence of a universally agreed on Deity We can pick through their private letters and deathbed confessions until the cows come home and still walk away with conflicting conclusions. One conclusion is inescapable however-that our founders believed that each man should have the absolute right to worship any and all Gods in any lawful manner he saw fit.

I understand your sentiment and the trend, but my research indicates the rate of population growth in the USA will slow in 2025, but it will still be positive and total population will increase. Current projections indicate that, based on current trends, the actual decline in USA population will happen in the second half of this century, beginning around 2055, or so.
