Disingenuous and you know it. First of all you're comparing 4 years. to 12. I mean, kindergarten math but hey don't let that stop you.
Second Obama inherited the the second biggest biggest recession in. a century from the Bush years, AND the trillions of dollars of bills from the ill founded Iraq and Afghan invasions. 5 to 8 trillion in total. But hey, that turned out great, didn't it?? That's very much how Republicans roll-start a long, costly war and then scream bloody murder when some unfortunate Democrat has to pay for it.
But perhaps even more ironically, Republicans hang their hat on being fiscally responsible. That's their push..what they really do is cut revenues by lowering taxes on the richest while increasing spending thus creating a cycle of debt we can never pay off. Republicans used to tar Dems with the "tax and spend" moniker, but it turns out Republicans are "spend but lower taxes on the rich" which is even worse.

Well I’m pissed. Due to some changes we had, kids we can no longer claim, couple of other things, we didn’t adjust our withholdings accordingly. Anywho. We ended up with a taxes owed of north of 5K come tax time. We paid it on time and all, but a month later we get a bill from the IRS saying we owe a PHUCHING PENALTY of $140 bucks for failure to have enough withheld. Apparently we should have been paying quarterly estimated, even though we had no idea how much it would impact us. To me, if I pay my damn taxes by the damn deadline, I shouldn’t be penalized. I get it if I’m self employed and and don’t have a paycheck with withholdings, that’s one thing, been there, done that. But to tack on a penalty because I had a sizable tax bill in April is ridiculous.

Correct, and folks who really need benefits must wait years. Former BIL got lucky and his MIL knew some judge who fast-tracked his case after waiting only 2 years. Truck driver, he got diabetes. Happens to many truckers. His POS brother began receiving benefits in his late-30s.
