I was never a wine person until we started making our own for a bit. A few of us made it our hobby and found some pretty good sources for elderberry. We damn near became alcoholics for a couple summers. LOL.
I was around some really good homebrew for a year or so and I was hooked. Started paying the person to make it for me. (He died a couple months later.) I know a couple people that make there own wine and I did like what they gave me but haven't been around them at the "right" time...

Been watching more over-the-air TV than usual here lately....cold, rain, ice, snow weather to stay indoors and watch TV.
Is it me (or wishful thinking).....or does anybody else think that commercials/advertising is/has changed? The change was very obvious 4,5 years ago after BLM and Biden. But I think it looks like it's shifting back to 'normal'.
With all these companies dropping their DEI crap, have they also seen where their advertising the last few years has been hurting their brand?

The reason I've never been a big wine or mixed drink guy. Some of them are so good that I can see where you would/could drink them all day long. Used to order Tom Collins or Sangria....but quit years ago for the above reason.

I was asking Grok about this. Grok says there are 11 million illegal aliens in the US. We've had around 12+ million illegals enter the country since 2021.... So how is this accurate? So then I asked "how many legal immigrants are in the US?"... and it said there are 47.8 million legal alien residents. They are just shifting all those illegals into the legal category. Think about it this way.... Grok says there are 335 million US citizens... we have close to 60 million immigrants. So 1 in every 6 people in our country aren't from here. LOL. And people don't see a problem.
