I had a doctor who told me his kid was having trouble getting into medical school depsite having above excellent grades and references. When I asked why he told me that all the spots were taken up by foreign students. When I asked how that was possible he informed me all about how Medicare was paying to bring in all the foreign doctors that are all over rural America. I never looked into it but I can see how that article could be true.

I know a couple of white guys who had to go off to WVA to get accepted because of the DEI quotas in our area. Pathetic.

Perhaps the requirement was that they practice in rural America for a number of years to get the slot because American applicants wouldn't agree to practice there. Don't know. 3/5 doctors I see regularly are Indian ancestry but don't know if they're native or not or whether they should be deported.

Me, $15M is less than rounding error for our government & I wouldn't bat an eye if it was 2-5X that provided they save more than they spend.
