took a tour there with wife years ago in dresden oh. pretty amazing operation. that huge basket headqtrs building suddenly appearing on the horizon is a real eye catcher when you see it for the first time. my wife got rid of nearly all of her basket collection for pennies on the dollar. wife said she heard that the business has restarted, or some of it.
i remember that a lot of college kids worked there in the summer.

Yeah, we stopped there a couple of times. Went in the HQ building once. Bottom part of the open lobby was in cherry wood that the guard told me came from their property....they built a golf course and used the cherry for the lobby.
Further up the road, they had built a mall type shopping center with about 3 floors of shops, etc. Next to it they had brought in the largest barn in the state. Disassembled it (where I don't remember)...brought it in and reassembled it. Thing was huge.
We've still got quite a few baskets the Mrs has bought over the years.

Food inflation other than eggs and coffee is mostly down according to a report by CNBC this week. The main area where inflation is still rising is in housing.
