Well, this should be entertaining. We are living act one. Wait until act two (raising crisis) gets going.

Good luck to you everyone taking this lightly. You’ll be taking it other ways in the coming months/years.

81 million Americans say hi.
I knew you'd enjoy that meme, Sam.

No, you aren't. You're a hater. You're hoping for our country to fail because of one person. Your constant anti-Trump vitriol is pathetic. Go find a liberal orgy board to get off on.
This is a liberal board. You are just a Pub troll. ;)
And yes I am interested in federal budget cuts, more police hirings, a strong military, a strong economy, lower crime, good schools, access to affordable housing and peace in the world. All the same things you want.
You are just arrogant enough to think there is only one way to do that..... thru Donald Trump.
Just because I call him out for illegal, unconstitutional BS and his non stop mouth....doesn't make me a hater. It makes me an American with an opinion you just don't happen to agree with.

Who else was going to come into office and do this Sam? Harris? Never was going to happened. Thank you President Trump.

THIS^^

What needs to be said on here every so often so people don't forget, is that someone who truly repents of evil UNDERSTANDS that repentance and forgiveness for evil doesn't mean the sentence is avoided. Someone who truly repents UNDERSTANDS that the evil they committed may REQUIRE the sentence BE CARRIED OUT so that the evil spreads no farther.

For example- If you kill someone in anger and unjustly, and truly repent of it, you should understand that there is a penalty for doing so and accept that penalty so the victims and those who loved them can see justice done and stop the spread of bitterness and evil that might otherwise fester.

If you truly repent of the action/crime, you wouldn't be trying to negotiate to have the sentence vacated. It is only in this way that evil is destroyed.

So....you are an elected member of Congress. Elected by you constituents back home. Hopefully you have some brains...and talk to the folks back home on what they like/don't like.

But, you have to ask permission on how to vote.

from Axios.....

Scoop: Hakeem Jeffries' centrists press him to let them vote for GOP bills

Your 2025 Dem/lib party.....

I find it absolutely hilarious that these folks STILL don’t understand that their lunacy is driving the average person away from the Democrat party. I can’t imagine being someone who isn’t into politics and coming across these loons and thinking “yea, that’s who I want to associate with”.

That's the problem with this whole mess and our Government in general. When House members have to get permission to vote certain ways, they are failing in their duties and they are failing the constituents that voted for them. Vote how your constituents expect you to vote, and don't give a shit about what Hakeem Jeffries thinks of it.

Sorry, I don't take tea drinkers serious. Be a man, drink some straight black coffee, and then we can talk.

"School choice has been on a roll in Republican-led states, and the momentum is continuing this year in some of the laggards. That’s all the more important after the demoralizing recent national test score results.

The number of private school choice programs in the country grew to 81 from 65 from 2020-2024, according to the education nonprofit EdChoice. But only 33 states have choice programs, which means there are many more children and parents to liberate from lousy union schools."

Guess where Ky falls (literally) on this wonderful effort.

Riddle me this: Trump wins 64.4% of KY 2024 vote. Yea MAGA! In 2023, KY Amendment for non-public education funding goes down with 64.8% of the vote against, 35.2% for. So who are the 29% that voted for Trump and against better education if not MAGA? KY doesn't deserve Trump. Unredeemable DA's. Don't attempt to tell me MAGA folks are conservative.

"The Congressional Budget Office reported Monday that federal spending rose 15% in the first four months of fiscal 2025.

Outlays in the first months rose $317 billion to $2.43 trillion from September through January. Discounting for some timing shifts in outlays from 2024 and 2025, spending rose $157 billion, or 7%. We doubt your family budget rose 7%, and if it did you may need a loan.

The usual spending suspects were to blame: Social Security up 7%, Medicare up 5%, and Medicaid up 9% because of rising costs per enrollee. President Trump has taken these programs off the reform list, which is like saying you want to go on a diet except for the beer, chips and ice cream sundaes. "

"DOGE is a good idea. But for all of Mr. Musk’s frenetic tweeting, and the Beltway cries of Apocalypse Now, so far DOGE is only nibbling at the edges of Washington’s spending problem. That takes Congress, which is why the Republican budget bills this year are where the real policy action is."

And the MAGA March rolls on with nary a care.

Follow up.

The really tragic part is the foolishness of the reasoning.

By their own twist of ideology, if someone is a girl, THEY DON'T NEED puberty blockers, hormones, or surgery. It will naturally progress how it progresses and they will be what they are. That's the initial sales pitch. "You are who you feel you are!"

Then once you're in the grasp so to speak, they change the sales pitch. "You need to take this." "You need to cut this off and do that."

It's fkng sick and so perverse. So twisted. In any other situation, a doctor or family member doing this to anyone would be prosecuted a d the child taken away. If you told them they were a murderer from birth, if you told them they were a kangaroo, if you told them they were straight when they thought they might be gay, and gave them a surgery option to permanently keep them from going back on whatever they felt at that moment, you'd have your child taken from you and possibly be prosecuted. Def prosecuted if they had the surgery.

If you feel a certain way, then either it's real or it isn't. You don't need meds and a surgery. You need to see if you still feel that way without interference when you are 18. If gender is fluid, then why or why the need to cement it any certain way. That's completely fkng stupid on the face of it.

If there are more genders than just two, why would anyone assume two and change to the other? Madness begets madness

"A typical car contains roughly 1,000 pounds of steel at a cost of about about $6,000 to $7,000 per vehicle, Baker told CBS MoneyWatch. That means adding a 25% tariff could increase the cost of a car by $1,000 to $1,500, he estimated. Although some automakers might shift to buying more U.S.-made steel, American manufacturers would also likely boost their prices, taking advantage of the higher costs for foreign-made steel, he added."

Those same people have taken over mainline churches in the US. The Methodist and Presbyterian churches are cooked.

Exactly. I'd say most church hierarchies have been infiltrated by globalists and dems seeking to divide communities by doctrine and politics

I have a very close friend whose job it is to feed content to Politico, WSJ, NYTimes, etc. His clients - who are major players both in the US and abroad - pay his company a ton of money to do this. (The funny part about it is that rags like Politico don't even try to hide it. They'll give him shout outs on his birthday.)

He's not involved in this stuff related to DOGE; it's more related to international / middle east stuff. But I guaran-f'ing-tee that that this WSJ article was pushed by interested parties who are trying to get DOGE to quit looking into their gravy train. As in, 'wait, don't look at this $50B in fraud we're making a fortune on. Direct your energy to SS as that's where the money is."

Oh no, American companies and labor will make more as opposed to giving the money to China. We should do REVERSE tariffs where we actually subsidize the buying of foreign steel. Cause the more money going overseas the better.

Congrats you f'ing traitor. I hope they're keeping your bed warm in Gitmo.

Dude, that’s idiotic. You’re saying he WANTED to be invaded and almost murdered just so he could turn into a dictator and suspend the press? It’s Ukraine. He could’ve done that minute one. Yanukovych was shooting protestors dead in the streets just a few years before that. Ukraine is not America, your standards don’t apply.

"Free trade" has led to almost $T annual account trade deficits and a $36T federal debt. Why? Because China, Japan, Saudi Arabia, etc. takes the money we send them for their product and buys our debt. This funds the nonsensical borrowing we continue to do.

Econ professors are so f'ing stupid it drives me nuts. They just keep screaming "free trade" and "open borders" without acknowledging that it didn't work for the last 30 years.
