I like Friedman quotes as sort of a comic strip for "intellectuals" because his broad generalizations and the lack of context can make them seem real deep and yet really funny at the same time.

Been off the grid most of the day. What the hell is the deal with this supposed manifesto from the Vegas cyber truck “suicide”? And the FBI says this dude DID write it?
If you read it, (it's posted above), it's not a frkn "manifesto" at all. It's an email. He sent someone an email, and it seems to have been sent because he was being harassed by agencies, after talking about the drones people have been seeing. It mentions he avoided being abducted or something by maybe the fibs and was trying to go to Mexico.
There's nothing in it that would suggest he was trying to blow up anything so much as using the IED as a deterrent to "them" trying to harass him again. Makes me think he might have been carjacked and the IED detonated remotely.
I'm at the point right now where I want to know from the autopsy if he had any burns to his lungs. I'm guessing he didn't and that he was dead before anything happened to the truck. This is more of a whistle-blower situation to me than any kind of "terrorist" or "manifesto" situation, unlike the known terrorist attack and manifesto the agencies still haven't released in more than one instance from the past 8 years.
Independent media is doing a better job uncovering info on the terrorist attack anyway.
Agree… it certainly wasn’t a “manifesto.” And it definitely suggests this was more likely a professional hit made to look like a suicide.

Looks like the dude tried to not hurt anyone but himself in the explosion... if that was even him in the seat.... Trump, 78, was apparently on the golf course, mid-round, when he spoke to two GOP lawmakers who initially voted against having Johnson serve another term as House speaker, Rep. Ralph Norman (R-SC) — one of the holdouts — told CNN.
“He said, ‘Look, I’m in the middle of a golf game.’ That was the first time I talked to him,’” Norman said of his conversation with the incoming commander in chief.
“He said, ‘Well, you did vote for Nikki Haley.’ I said, ‘Yes, sir, I did. We’re with you now.’ And I said, ‘We will be with Mike Johnson,’” Norman added.
The South Carolina Republican further revealed that after Johnson was re-elected to the speakership post, Trump pledged to have conservative lawmakers, like Norman, “at the table in negotiations” on policy decisions.
