It really does get tiring. I thought we had institutions that could be trusted, then they went all in with the “safe and effective” mRNA bullshit trying to push it into my newborn son, and I lost faith in every single institution in this country. Then your start to see the incetuous relationship between big pharma and the FDA, realize the government has insulated big pharma from liability for harm caused by their shots, realize the FDA was a critical player in the opioid epidemic, etc. etc.
So yeah, critical thinking these days is exhausting. But I sleep better at night rather than just taking the side of whatever the moneyed interests tell me to think.
Actually that is not true in all cases. I watch a lot of true crime shows and you would be surprised how many times they do call 911 first.
