Damn dude. 5% annual return.

Not keeping up with inflation. Abysmal in comparison to what you would have got in an index fund.

But shit yeah man those money markets raining interest from the heavens!!!!
5% Beats the hell out of 1%

Real estate ownership and stock ownership have enjoyed great returns as well

here's a political thought - hopefully it's received as intended...non partisan & geared towards benefiting regular human beings who work , raise families & don't own banks , media outlets or other human beings

Obviously all the dialogue is centered on the election process and all the incoherent shit that festers with it

But as citizens we REALLY should be thinking a step ahead
And maybe realize that we're being programmed NOT to think about our shared interests in a way that shifts the conflict - and accountability-- to the actual Fking politicians

Irrespective of who gets sworn in - there should be at least one political issue that the citizens are prepared to push towards reform - cause electing someone is just the beginning of a new chapter

Pick one issue that is universally important to all us - campaign finance reform, eliminating sitting politicians fm trading public stock, defunding specific military programs to invest elsewhere - whatever

And insist on accountability for SOMETHING that matters to US as opposed to other special interests

Point is - we HAVE common ground even though no one wants u to realize it
We definitely have a responsibility to drive our leaders towards useful goals
And that change in perspective can bear MUCH fruit for the citizens that our politicians ought to serve

The fact that the democrats are going to need to commit significant fraud to install Kamala is a bit of a gating issue for coming together on “common ground” after she’s installed.

You can't fix stupid.

The SPX is up 9.76% annualized over the last 3 years... and he SOMEHOW thinks 5% annualized is better.

Democrats literally have no business sense whatsoever.

If Trump wins the popular vote but loses the EC i cant wait fo hear ppl like @sammysdad05 and the press talk about how important the EC is and how it's now a standing of democracy and saved it
Let's see. I've been in favor of direct election of the prez and a unicameral legislature for over 30 years. Yes, the awareness that elections might not go my way has occurred to me before.

It this year's election the big distress isn't Trump -- he's old and not long for this world -- but the number of people who support him. If Trump wins, he wins. The number of people who want Fascism, though, that isn't going away soon. People have an imaginary idea of what life under an autocrat is like. There are no happy Fascist countries. People's lives don't improve. The problem with "electing" an autocrat is getting rid of him when the time comes. The difference between the FBI and the Stasi|Gestapo|FSB isn't small. A man with vengeance on his mind will bring in a Stasi|Gestapo|FSB. It's been so long since Americans had to face the impact of Fascism and autocracy, they have a weird perception of what it would mean for them. It'll be rule by gangsters.

No one keeps funds in a mm for 2-3 years. You undoubtedly lost spending power if you did.
A couple of years ago, Buffet moved his non-core assets to liquid assets. He said he did it because the market couldn't guarantee him 5% return.

Can Dreadlox be barred from voting in KY for being an insane idiot?

Trump is your age. You could have gone to high school with him.

Welcome to the last four years. You were living your best life.
