FEMA whistleblower details 'waste' of taxpayer funds and staff waiting in hotels during Hurricane Helene.
The letter also alleges 'hundreds if not thousands' of first responders and service members have been 'without deployment orders' with some waiting around in hotels while others 'have sat idle' as Americans throughout the southeast are in dire need.

Actually he isn't wrong and it was something I thought about. The media unintentionally prepares republican candidates by absolutely grilling them in every interview. Were they because of mail-in ballots? If there's a widespread conspiracy big enough to implement cheating to the point it determines the outcome, it sure as hell is powerful enough TO JUST DO THAT. They don't need covid, or mail-in ballots, or electronic voting machines, or anything else. They just report incorrect numbers and the election is over. WHY are you just now questioning the integrity of our elections when your savior lost an emotionally charged election in 2020? It's propaganda. Either our elections are rigged and we've all already been screwed for a looooong time, or they're fair. You are not so special or important that everyone started some massive fraud campaign just to beat your guy in 2020. Grow up. Showing five IDs and a birth certificate, filling out a paper ballot, and putting it wherever it goes in your local polling place doesn't guarantee the integrity of the election in any way.
People view politics like they do sports. They pick a team and blindly cheer them on no matter what. It's much more common on the left because they are like a hive mind, but it happens on both sides. In a perfect world each party would be just as hard if not harder on their own side as they are the other, because politicians are held more accountable to the people who are registered to their own party. They have to win them over twice in both thr primary and general elections. Unfortunately it's nothing like that and this is one of the many problems with politics.

It's a direct result of the two-party dichotomy. Any criticism of your 'side' weakens its position, which, since there's only one opponent, inherently strengths its position. Therefore all internal criticism is heavily disincentivized, as it accomplishes nothing but losing, which hurts your overall aims and goals, which you believe are best for the country(which is why you have them). It's strategically better to cover your 'side's' flaws than call them out. In a multi-party or individual system there are many other possible beneficiaries to a waning in influence of your particular faction, so there are many more opportunities to align with those other factions on policy and not just be directly strengthening your diametrically opposed opponent.
