Bring this back when 47 is president. See what he does. If nothing, says a lot about who is part of the swamp.
Where did I argue they do everything efficiently or perfectly? And yes that’s my point, there are institutions that need to remain as part of the federal govt and they don’t need to be all political appointees like Trump essentially is trying to do.The government funds many worthy endeavors, but they just don't do them very, you know, WELL. Which is the entire point. Competition, accountability etc. produce better results. It's been proven time and time again.
Now, there are SOME things, for various reasons, that only the Federal government is properly equipped to do, but not very many...
Get it now?
We do IRS "civil service" (LMAO) people look into and release near-exclusively Pub & right-wing Orgs tax returns? Why didn't these civil service people stop the contractor from releasing rich & famous people's tax returns? Complicit I say.Cool so you also have no idea about civil service and the people that make that up and why they’re important. Guess we don’t need NASA engineers or smart people at the department of energy, etc. Way to show your ignorance.
OK, so how do we assure only citizens are voting? I mean a green card holder can get driver's license. That punched on "non-citizen voting" FOR WHICH THERE IS NO EVIDENCE OF A WIDESPREAD PHENOMENON, which is disingenuous, because it should be a ZERO phenomenon. IOW, it shouldn't happen at ALL, and anybody that is against measures to stamp it out has an agenda for doing so. Not even open for debate.
It wouldn’t be that hard to name as many corrupt and failed private industry examples either. Not to mention the ones who consistently break the law.Prove me wrong…
I’m actually an open minded guy. If there is a gov’t organization that exists and runs as it should, I’d love to hear about it. Please enlighten…
The reporter should have walked over her and said oops, you stepped in my way.
Oh I get it. My sense though is, that you and I have markedly different "lists" with respect to what the government should or should not be in charge of. All Executive branch government employees are, essentially Presidential (and therfore political) appointees. So, with respect to that, I guess I DON'T get your point.Where did I argue they do everything efficiently or perfectly? And yes that’s my point, there are institutions that need to remain as part of the federal govt and they don’t need to be all political appointees like Trump essentially is trying to do.

SIAP.
And just like that.
Wisconsin Supreme Court changes course, will allow expanded use of ballot drop boxes this fall
The Wisconsin Supreme Court is changing course and will allow officials to place ballot drop boxes around their communities in this fall's elections in the presidential swing state.apnews.com
Straw man argument. Of course there are many bad private examples, but I never claimed all private organizations are great. It wouldn’t be that hard to name as many corrupt and failed private industry examples either. Not to mention the ones who consistently break the law.
Poster after poster proved it to be true all yesterday defending the policy positions.Dion posts a lot of mind numbingly stupid shit, but this ranks near the top.
OK, so how do we assure only citizens are voting? I mean a green card holder can get driver's license.
You spend every day here defending the policy positions of Stalin and Mao. Maybe you should take a little break.Poster after poster proved it to be true all yesterday defending the policy positions.
False.I mentioned it a few weeks ago too. Probably would be smart for you guys to read up on it and realize what you’re voting for. You guys saying “I don’t even know what that is” isn’t the flex you think it is. You just look ignorant.
You should also make yourself aware of schedule F before it’s too late to change your vote.
Just another ignorant take. It is no wonder you are so easily dupedThe President doesn’t control grocery store chains. Thats why I keep laughing at the people on here that think Trump is going to magically lower prices too by “asking them” to do it. You think Kroger and others are cool with just cutting the record profits they’ve been making since COVID? Nope you’re not getting your old prices back. We as the working class just have to figure out how to deal with it. Glad to see Biden call out the illegal price gouging though. That’s the real issue.

So exchanging non merit based DEI hires and appointees (current system) with “who Trump likes” hires?
I’d take my chances with the Trump hires.
False.Definitely not his entire agenda. But these are people from his administration that have outlined this plan and have said it’s to help Trump get started right away. I doubt Trump has read it (like the Bible) but he’s aware of it.
Back to schedule F which Trumps former OMB director is obsessed with implementing. It reclassifies thousands of government jobs as political appointees instead of merit based employees. Meaning Trump can put some moron in those positions like the my pillow guy so he can’t be told no when he wants to do something dumb or illegal. Does that sound like a good idea to you? Those employees now are protected from being fired by a president for reasons like they don’t support him politically. Schedule F removes that. Remember a day will come when dear leader is gone and a pesky democrat will win again. Now it doesn’t seem so great does it? Look I don’t like Trump, no surprise there. But just in general, I don’t like the idea of any president enacting this at all. It’s a horrible idea to think that thousands of civil service workers with thousands of years of experience could just be replaced with any moron Trump likes. Let’s be real, even you guys noticed how bad Trump is at hiring people. And that’s my biggest issue long term. Trump is ruining everything for his own short term gain and it’s going to have long lasting impacts way beyond him that even the most loyal MAGA are going to regret supporting.
And no schedule F isn’t some crazy left wing conspiracy. Trump signed an executive order in October 2020 trying to implement it but then Biden smartly reversed it. So don’t act like nothing in the Project 2025 is news to Trump. It’s definitely part of his agenda. He’s already said he’s doing it day 1 of his next term.

There's no point in engaging them on the content as they actually support it. They're MAGA Republicans, they're where it comes from. Which is the point, there's no disavowing it, it's their core platform. MAGAs love it, the people it's horrifying to are normies. It damages Trump with the actual independents, which is why you see the public statements after one of his cronies drew too much attention.EXACTLY the type of response I’d expect someone on this board to give.
Have you ever worked civil service?Cool so you also have no idea about civil service and the people that make that up and why they’re important. Guess we don’t need NASA engineers or smart people at the department of energy, etc. Way to show your ignorance.
EXACTLY the type of response I’d expect someone on this board to give.

OK, so a driver's license is insufficient. When an immigrant becomes a citizen, they get a Certificate of Naturalization.
No, I cannot walk into a McDonald's and fire the clerk who gets my order wrong. Wtf do you even mean? You're missing the key difference. Consumers/citizens can fire them if they want to (unlike government agencies)
Some of the policy positions you clowns have posted and attributed to agenda 2025 are just common sense things anyone with a brain would support. Slapping a label on them doesn’t mean people support your boogeyman.
Karl the AP Calc wizard can’t grasp the concept of what makes private enterprise work. Shocking. No, I cannot walk into a McDonald's and fire the clerk who gets my order wrong. Wtf do you even mean?

Might shock you but there are thousands of civil service employees with doctorates, masters degrees and years and years of service and experience. Those people make up all the major institutions. But sure I’d love to let Trump handpick replacements and put his lackies in there. And EXACTLY the type of post I’d expect from a lefty who’s been gaslighting the country the last 4 years concerning a POTUS that’s not a demented puppet, a VP that wasn’t chosen just because she’s a black woman, etc. We can keep working our way down the ladder if you’d like all the way to even the staffers filming their gay porn in the Senate room.
Merit based? Ha
Just the first major gaffe by the other side since the debate. They’re desperately trying to change the narrative away from Joe’s debate performance since he apparently won’t step down. The “Second American Revolution” comments penetrated through to the normies so they’re riding it.Theyre pushing project 2025 hard. My socials are overwhelmed with it. Must be something thats getting some traction because its a full onslaught.
Seriously, what do our resident libs have against ensuring citizenship to vote in federal elections?
This guy wants to get rid of the department of education, FBI, DOJ, ATF, etc. Every major government institution and things that republicans used to worship. All because Trump got his feelings hurt. You guys are insane if you’re willing to dismantle all of this lol. Who would’ve thought that a reality tv host would completely warp the minds of so many.
