As a numbers guy this election doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. All of the models point to something being very fishy. That doesn’t mean it was, but it just doesn’t feel right.
Trump gained votes with every demographic group except white males. I have trouble believing several million normal white dudes voted for the radical left move of the country. Add to this that the GOP gained so many house seats and it doesn’t add up.
I can understand Obama winning in 2008 because the country was fed up with Bush and the war machine, and in 2012 because Romney didn’t have any board appeal whatsoever - but Biden is an old white dude who had no real momentum or excitement behind him.
If nothing else I hope this at least leads to a wholesale examination of our voting systems. They are clearly not bulletproof and susceptible to manipulation. The senate races in Georgia become of paramount importance now. That state needs to be watched like a hawk so that those races are decided by the voters and not outside influences.
