The modern day left wants to allow abortions post birth and have their own form of conversion therapy going; allowing drag queens to read trans books and encouraging preschoolers to get hormone therapy.
I love that defunding an institution that has over 80% of its procedures being abortions, that also has millions upon millions donated to it by elitists is some how a travesty. The travesty is that they get any taxpayer money at all in the first place.
I'm pro choice (first trimester only) and I agree that taxpayers should not be funding abortions. Education, prevention, sure...not abortions though.
Checked this on snopes for the hell of it. Of course it’s rated a mixture of true and false. The fact that there is no universally accepted definition for “mass shooting” makes it not totally true. But make no mistake, all of these people pictured shot, injured and killed multiple people.
Until we stop picking and choosing which killings are worthy of discussion, how can we have an honest discussion about possible solutions?
The government takes enough of our money to begin with. I’d rather them fix up schools, buildings, roads, etc. than give some girl her 3rd abortion with it.

What Trump and many others (who were being honest) said would happen is actually happening. Instead of staying in China, paying the high tariffs and passing it on to US consumers many of the US companies are fleeing China instead.
But again this isn't about money or trade deficits or cheap goods. It's about changing the behavior and unfair/illegal practices of a communist regime who has been steamrolling the US and forcing illegal business practices on our businesses for decades.

The “Mad Money” host, who has generally been in favor of a tough trade policy with the economic powerhouse, says he is “more sanguine” that the ongoing tensions may force the Chinese government to make concessions on the trade front.
“We are not going into recession, people. We’re not because the tariffs are not going to do that,” Cramer said. “We have too much steam to fold.”
Private industry in China has found itself in rough waters, due in part to the number of American businesses that have relocated operations out of the country in the wake of the trade war. Many of those U.S. companies are trying to avoid the existing tariffs on imports from China. Trump is threatening to tack on another round of tariffs starting Sept. 1 that would in effect place duties on all goods sent to the U.S from China.
The Chinese economy slowed to 6.2% in the second quarter this year — its weakest posting since 1992.

Seriously, if the world is so great, why don't people move? I happen to think this is the best place to live. If I thought another place was significantly better, then peace out! But there isn't another country in the world that offers as much freedom as the US. So I'll keep my happy ass here and do what I can to defend the freedoms that this country was FOUNDED UPON. Other countries have different values. They value safety over freedom. If that's your thing, go join them.
I can see this too. America has never been united. It was not united in the 13 colonies and at this point in our history there is no chance of being united. We are too big and too diverse to every come together as a nation. I thought 9/11 would bring us together but that was a pipe dream just as Pearl Harbor in 1941 was a pipe dream. It lasted for a while but not long.
No argument from me. I am not dissatisfied with the structure and constitution of our great country. If I was I would seek out a place and kiss this place good-bye. That is why I do not understand people who curse our country, curse our flag and hate our president for standing up for it.
