Are you actually wanting to talk policy or post about the same things over and over? People who voted for Trump probably know about the indictments and all of that. People stand where they stand on issues; if you are trying to persuade someone, shouldn’t you first try to understand why they see things the way they do? That's pretty funny when you read the garbage that is posted on this site by conservatives. It's also pretty funny that the preface Fareed used is totally ignored. Heck Fox News still exists even though everybody knows it's a right wing propaganda affair. This is the reason I've said from day one I don't want Trump impeached because he will single handedly destroy the GOP and he is well on his way. Heck even on this sight conservatives have conceded defeat of ideas and have posted about wanting a civil war.

That's all whataboutism and group vs group think, which is precisely (well, among many actually) what I meant by delusions you can't escape from. There are a few things at play here - 1) the media will always pounce on the worst possible meaning of a quote by a politician they are at odds with (Fox did the same thing with Obama) and 2) Trump does himself no favors with his speaking style. He has major trouble articulating anything more complex than build the wall or lock her up. He clearly gets flustered very easily when in a setting that is even remotely adversarial. He is much more comfortable surrounded by like minded people at his rallies or on Twitter, where he has full control of the situation. Get him answering questions or commenting on something outside of his comfort zone and he quickly gets confused and combines a bunch of subjects into a single comment. The (liberal) media feasts on this and most people are too lazy to look at the bigger picture so they believe what they are told.

Really that is maga? They "aim" to build some reactors while China and Russia are already building them everywhere. This adminstration likes to "aim" for a lot of shit that never happens. Still no USMCA trade deal, I think Trump forgot he has to submit it to Congress. Still no China trade deal, that one is always almost around the corner.
