The only thing I noticed during "The Great Recession" was my 401K tanked for a couple of years. My daughter, born in 1990, didn't even notice it and got a full ride scholarship from her grades in high school.

I was born in 1987 and I didn’t notice much of a difference during the big bad recession. I too went to college and my life has been pretty good to this point.
That’s how good our generation has had it. To point to something like the recession as an excuse to change everything.
