I saw another example of nonsense like this today. If any of you live in Louisville, if you get off the Gene Synder at Dixie Hwy there are always panhandlers working the intersection of the off ramp. Today there was 2 of them, one on each side. And not 10 yards away their vehicles sitting running with blinkers on.. (I guess they wanted to get in and warm up between panhandling) And both of these vehicles are probably twice as expensive and much newer than my old pick-up I was driving. I wanted to get out and knock their teeth out. And what's really infuriating about it, there are probably people out there who really are homeless and hungry and they will be ignored because of parasitic pieces of garbage with no shame like this working the system and taking advantage of people's decency. On top of that, these were 2 able bodied men capable of working a job anywhere. It just burns my ass.
There are panhandles every day at the top of the ramp from Watterson to Poplar Level, and at pretty much all the ramps that lead to Preston Hwy. from the Watterson or 65. When the weather is warmer there's always a gal who panhandles at the bottom of the ramp from Gene Snyder to Taylorsville Rd. That's how I go home. See her there a lot when the weather is more favorable. Honestly I think you can pick just about any off ramp in the city and find Panhandlers there at some point.

2. It doesn't really matter what the other half of the USA wants to do....they don't have a choice. Well, actually, they do.....they can continue to cry and moan about their miserable life, or they can join up and be a part of a winning team.
Come Nov. 2026 the other half does have a choice.

Thats a much better way of putting it. I don't think its going to be Capone's vault situation. Just that we are going to be much less wealthy in terms of gold than we claim due to being way over leveraged.

In fact i think people already know that, which is behind the push to audit it.
I sure hope the audit finds some missing. Would likely will drive up the price of my Au ETF further.

I agree with Rand Paul over Trump on this though I'd do it some different. I'd allow those brought here underage to ultimately become citizens. I'd still send back those here less than say 3 years. I'd require ID's for these people to be yellow to allow easier identification. ID also require voter ID and require these people not be counted towards awarding congressional seats from the Census.

"Immigrants in the country illegally should be allowed to stay and work as long as they haven’t committed any other crimes, U.S. Sen. Rand Paul told The Enquirer on Wednesday.

But they should not be allowed to become citizens, said Paul, a Republican from Bowling Green, Kentucky, who now heads the influential Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee “I would simply say, ‘you no longer have to run from the law,’ ” Paul said of undocumented immigrants who have not committed any crimes. “If you want to work in our country and you’re willing to be a productive member of our society, you stay. And that would be the trade-off.”"

When asked who should be deported, Paul agreed with much of Trump’s immigration policies, including the deportation of criminals living in the United States illegally. The country should first deport criminals and “then decide where we go beyond that,” he said. For those who came to the country illegally but have otherwise worked and lived peacefully, Paul said they should be allowed a work permit.

“If I were in charge, I would allow people, if they are not wanted for crime, have not committed a crime, and they’ve been living here in a reasonable fashion, if they wanted to work, I’d allow them to have work permits,” Paul said. “But I wouldn’t give them a path to citizenship or a path to voting.”"

"Undocumented immigrants accounted for about 5% of the U.S. labor force in 2022, according to the Pew Research Center. Of the 11 million undocumented immigrants estimated in the country in 2022, 8.3 million were in the labor force,"

TDS is spreading like wildfire. The whole world and half the US refuse to join the insane cult of MAGA.

Ok cool, anyway...you didn't answer his question.

This is a common tactic of the left, press, higher ed, etc. You see they can't actually articulate their points so they have to resort to claiming anything they dislike is evil, in current day, anything i don't like is fascist and hitler...it used to be more of anything I dont like is racist. They're so desperate now, they will try to tie, as seen by brennan, literally anything to hitler even if it means creating a false history.

It's also a serious damage the entire media and denocrat party have done to manipulate low information voters. Where they're positioned as govt is about morality and altruism, and democrats are all about caring, therefore if you oppose democrats, who only do caring things, you must be bad. Absurdly stupid.

Anyway, here's FIRE...the foundation of individual rights and expression..which cares nothing about political affiliation, only the right to free speech, chiming in on you dumbasses.

☝️☝️☝️☝️ these assholes don’t want peace in Ukraine, neither does Zelensky he just wants the grift to continue. About to fool around and start WWIII.

Talk now that Britain and other EU nations are set to deploy troops to Ukraine, perhaps an end around to force the US into fulfilling its obligations to NATO if any of these idiots are attacked.

History repeating itself right before our very eyes - I always wondered how people went along with the Nazi’s and allowed them to take power but we’re getting to see it real time. The EU is basically a totalitarian state, the people don’t want it but the will of the people has been nullified time and again.

Our country is at odds with itself, the media and most elements of society’s interests are at odds with most Americans. you have a subset of dopes like the Sammie’s that think we are obligated to waste trillions of tax payer dollars to support this one-world government/ censorship bullshit that has taken over Europe

Dangerous times indeed

Like any job, why is a Government job supposed to be guaranteed. Businesses make cuts and let people go all the damn time. it's about time these people figured out the Government is and should be no different.
Exactly.

These same dickheads didn’t bat an eye at places becoming ghost towns cause of the war on coal. Didn’t bat an eye at people losing their livelihood cause of Democrat governor lockdowns or because they wouldn’t get a medical experiment.

Leftists are absolute scum who worship the state.

The craziest thing about the PPP isn’t that people defrauded the program, it’s that things that would normally sound like blatant fraud were perfectly legal under the PPP.

Just massive waste in response to the massive fraud that was Covid.

It was another honey trap to corrupt more people and have them compromised for use later.

Easy boss. I Mentioned nothing about Covid vaccines. The outbreak in TX concerned measles. I don’t think anyone would question the effectiveness of the measles vaccine vs Covid/flu vaccines. Like I said you prob should have read the article. No mask here; Haven’t had one since the 21
But you don't conflate a measles outbreak in TEXAS to millions of people pouring across our border. in TEXAS

As little faith as I have in our government, I can’t believe we’ve had people guarding an empty fort for decades. That would be the most wild story ever.

More realistically, the US government has been paying to protect a fort full of gold, but they sold off the rights to that gold years ago.

So I’d bet there’s gold in Fort Knox the taxpayers have been paying to protect, but others are going to claim it’s theirs.

But possession is the whole point when it comes to gold, so maybe we do just have an empty fort.
So if we do open it up and there's like three bricks on the floor, What next?

Nothing unites a people like an attack on their nation.... oh wait. They've been attacked repeatedly within their own nations. Nothing demoralizes them more than repeated attacks within their own country and their govt refusing to help them.

The only thing left now is a "holy war" or "crusade" by which to conscript the masses to fight for the real leader of the EU

That AND who holds the notes on the gold. I think that is going to be the shockers.

I think they already know though. I think the fed has it all tied up in notes and loans and this is their way of working towards auditing the fed.

Can they pull it off? They are legitimately in dangerous territory.

Could it have been brought in by someone here illegally? Absolutely. I simply was responding to the genius who stated measles is always brought in by illegal immigrants. Ignorant and dumb comment. Measles is often brought in by Americans traveling internationally, and bringing it back and it spreads into unvaccinated communities. The article mentioned that had happened in a previous outbreak in TX. That also was the cause in NY in 2019 which made the news

I would be on board with something similar to this. I doubt the far left and far right would be on board w it though. Would love to see some sort of compromise/middle ground

This is why Rand Paul and libertarians never got anywhere close to the White House as candidates.

He's a RINO by definition and porridge as a "lawmaker" and grandstander in congressional hearings, never pushing hard enough, and never leading to any real action against the left.

The LAW exists for a reason. The vast majority of people working here illegally are breaking other laws besides. They aren't carrying insurance, and they're not paying taxes, for starters. A real intelligent congressman should also understand that they're not paying penalties for exporting goods into Mexico and sending their money there instead of using it within THIS economy. None of these things are good for the people, and he would understand that if he had any real understanding of and loyalty to the republic.

That's the problem with libertarians. They still want cheap labor and goods, but want to grandstand on conservative principles when it's election time. When push comes to shove, however, they won't pick up their share of the load. They'll just try to stay out of the fray.

The effectiveness of the measles vaccines is questionable, because there is no proof of it. There is simply correlation. "Correlation, (according to the medical community), does not equal causation." This is also why most deaths during the "covd outbreak" were not DUE TO covd, but were listed as WITH covd even if their tests came back negative for covd.

All the "care" providers had to have listed for their patients were "cold" or "flu" symptoms to be declared as covd and receive their 10s of thousands of dollars.

It's not science if correlation is enough here but not there. It's simply propaganda and marketing. Science has left the building

He adopts the Milton Friedman view which is there should be open borders for work but zero public assistance or subsidies.

If you're starting from new, i don't have an issue with that approach. If you come here and make it with hard work and good ideas with no government resources, that alone proves you are a productive member of society and you should be allowed. If you cant, you leave anyway from necessity.

The practical issue with that is the view was formed in the 80s and never contemplated the mess we have now. It was surely inconceivable back then that any president would literally leave the door open and help people illegally come in for 4 years.

Imo because of that, we just need a full reset. We need to ship every illegal out and lock down. Maybe someday if we get back to zero, this Friedman view can be implemented but i don't see it.

It even said in that story (or another i read) that the vaccine doesn't mean you won't get it.

If thats the case, it never met the precovid definition of vaccine. I say precovid because we all know the machine notoriously changed the definition so the covid shot could be included.

I agree with Paul. When you say the LAW exists for a reason, just what law are you referring to? You have zero data that the vast majority of illegals are breaking other laws besides. Total bs to supposedly advance your beliefs. People here legally send lots of money an goods outside the country. Is that somehow illegal to you? You want no people or goods to come or go from this country. Fortress America is you mantra. I'm loyal to the republic, not you rants. Oh yea, it's your figment that 11-12M or whatever number of illegals will ever be deported.

BTW, should people here legally that don't pay taxes or cheat on their return be deported also? Why not?

Ain't ever happening. Get over it. At the rate they're going, it won't be a million total over 4 years period.

Within the past year, the IRS has significantly upgraded their online service accounts for taxpayers and professionals. Looking forward to the modernization a group of autistic super nerds will bring.

Don’t let the same media who’ve broadcast the tax documents that were illegally leaked to Propublica convince you there’s any risk with DOGE bringing efficiency to the IRS.
