I am a huge fan of American democracy. Hoping to turn some on here away from the current wave of authoritarianism and idolatry sweeping the country.
I'm not hopeful but am determined.

Everyone looked and saw NOTHING. The votes were hand counted multiple times. The courts saw nothing. The election officials saw nothing. The governors saw nothing.
Trump conned and grifted millions of dollars from his pitiful believers who donated to the lie.
His army of believers attacked the Capitol based on his lies.
Sad and scary at the same time. His cult of personality is still unconvinced despite mountains of evidence right in front of their eyes.
Authoritarianism is trying to ban guns, forcing vaccines and lockdowns on people, causing fuel shortages and outrageous prices in order to push electric vehicles on the populace, creating truth ministries to shut down opposing views, treating concerned parents at school board meetings like domestic terrorists. Which party is doing these things? You’re determined to be stupid. And succeeding.

Here's some actual government authoritarian laws passed by Republicans:
1. Trans laws telling them what they can or can't do with their own bodies and what medication doctors are allowed to give.
2. Abortion laws forcing 12 year old girls to have the baby their own daddy created when he raped her.
3. Attempts by numerous red states to repeal the right to gay marriage.
Republicans say "get big government out of your lives" but we are gonna tell you what you can do with your own body and who you can marry.
So tell me again who is the Authoritarian party???

150 police injured. Trump evacuated to a bunker... Remember that? They made fun of Trump for being evacuated by the Secret Service. That looks really hypocritical. Trump is "bunker boy" but jan 6 was the greatest threat to our democracy. 2 protesters died on jan 6 but 150 cops were injured in May of 2020. A secret service guard house was burned to the ground and outer fences torn down and stormed but it was played off as a joke.
These people just lie non-stop. Only the most brainwashed part of their base believes this. Our eyes clearly show us a guy who is fatigued from trying to finish a sentence. He is hidden away so often and trotted out carefully with scripted questions and short appearances before being ushered away. He is simply a puppet that is mentally gone.
The Dems did a lot of similar stuff with RBG although she did not need to be in the public eye much but it was clear that when you saw her, she was at the end.
