Democrats would love for someone to murder Brett Kavanaugh or Clarence Thomas or any of the pro-life supreme court justices. That way Biden would get to pick their replacement. Democrats are that evil.

Both are valid points. Yes, what the guy did was awful and no one should be celebrating it. He should be prosecuted to fullest extent under the law obviously. That said, it is ironic that everyone on here is so up in arms over this and how fast Mitch was to stand up and make sure Kavanaugh gets protection vs. how slow he is to help school kids from being murdered. Also, since most on here see mass shootings as just something we have to live with so we can keep our precious guns, just realize shit like this will happen too. Nothing is safe with such easy access to ARs.
I wouldn't be surprised to see the left push for Breyer to not retire. Jackson has already been confirmed, that would be a way to force another judge, then they'd push for an 11th judge.
You do realize that you lefties run all 3 branches of our government, don’t you? You can vote gun control measures in all day if you could just control yourselves.
I also think we need some changes in gun control, more reform to our mental health situation, more security in our schools, etc.
I’m 100% a 2A person that owns guns, hates the NRA and understands the frustrations from the other side. But there are measures that could be taken without going too far.
But you can’t give Democrats an inch because they try to grab a mile and a half. We all found that out during COVID.

Nothing got done after kids were murdered at Sandy Hook, that’s when I gave up. Nothing is going to get done after these 19 kids were destroyed and in some cases decapitated. We’re too far gone. Uh…Dems have the majority in both Houses. If Mitch is controlling the Dems, then he’s a hell of a man. Besides, he agrees with much of that bill.
You Dems didn’t give 2 shits about kids a month or so ago when 49 of them voted it was ok to murder a child up to 9 months. The hypocrisy runs deep. Don’t need a gun for that.
