I still don't get how we have 2 of the top 4 oil producing countries in the world joined at the hip and we don't just take care of ourselves. Understand that oil is a global resource and tied to a global economy, but the US and Canada produce more than enough oil to sustain ourselves. Let the rest of the world worry about their own fossil fuels. When you also factor in the fact that Canada has less population than California, we should just horde everything we produce here and only sell off the excess once we supply our own populations with enough affordable product to sustain us.

Does the first amendment apply to everyone or just the press? Does the right to remain silent apply to everyone or just half the country? Do we all have the right to private property or just people that the govenment OK's?

The bill of rights isn't stating rights that the government gives us. It is telling the government specifically what they cannot do. No where in the bill of rights does it limit personal freedom. The whole point of the constitution and bill of rights is to limit government and especially federal government.

I don’t know why we immediately jump to gun control. We could have a much more rational discussion if we just sat down with the bill of rights and scratched out the ones that would actually help prevent mass shootings. Locking people up without due process and not requiring warrants would be far more effective at stopping mass shootings than gun control.

There were enough red flags over this kid that the police could of done something. Wanting to put laws on law abiding citizens because these cops were horrible at their job is nuts. Those cops had 130 times the last few years to intervene and they always just shrugged their shoulder and went to waffle house to flirt with the waitress. More laws won't help when they don't enforce the laws on the books.


Hell, Hunter Biden lied on his firearm purchase form and then he threw it in a trash can behind a store that was across from a school. These are known facts and the atf and fbi ain't doing shit about that because deep down they don't care.

Brandon Straka was at the capitol on Jan 6. He never went into the capitol and he never confronted a cop. He never did anything violent in any way. The feds charged him with 3 felonies with the chance of serving 30 years in jail and 100s of thousands in fine$. He plead guilty to lesser charges simply because he didn't think he'd get a fair shot in DC. Straka is a life long democrat and gay activist that switched to a Trump supporter in 2018ish time frame. If I was a teacher, I would want to be armed. I know my wife would likely, as well. I don’t think we should dismiss this as an idea just because some teachers will not want to. Let individual teachers decide. I have friends who have concealed carry permits. I know they are always armed. Does not bother me a bit. In fact, makes me feel safer.

It's a touchy subject because we constantly hear that teachers are just mouthpieces for the fringe left and as such are just indoctrinating our kids, but in the same breath we are calling for them to be armed.
