No. But do we want oil producing countries, and anyone for that matter, to align with China and Russia? India should be a slam dunk US ally and Trump had them headed that way. Biden has pushed them right into Russia and China's arms. Pakistan, Turkey, israel, Saudi Arabia... These are countries that always had our back the last 20 years and now they aren't.
My post wasn't meant as a commentary on the pros of guns or Christianity. Just an observation on how radically different American Christians are than those in the rest of the world. You could say the same about how Muslims in Albania are different than Muslims in Saudi Arabia, for example.

I still don't get how we have 2 of the top 4 oil producing countries in the world joined at the hip and we don't just take care of ourselves. Understand that oil is a global resource and tied to a global economy, but the US and Canada produce more than enough oil to sustain ourselves. Let the rest of the world worry about their own fossil fuels. When you also factor in the fact that Canada has less population than California, we should just horde everything we produce here and only sell off the excess once we supply our own populations with enough affordable product to sustain us.
Does the first amendment apply to everyone or just the press? Does the right to remain silent apply to everyone or just half the country? Do we all have the right to private property or just people that the govenment OK's?
The bill of rights isn't stating rights that the government gives us. It is telling the government specifically what they cannot do. No where in the bill of rights does it limit personal freedom. The whole point of the constitution and bill of rights is to limit government and especially federal government.

Brandon Straka was at the capitol on Jan 6. He never went into the capitol and he never confronted a cop. He never did anything violent in any way. The feds charged him with 3 felonies with the chance of serving 30 years in jail and 100s of thousands in fine$. He plead guilty to lesser charges simply because he didn't think he'd get a fair shot in DC. Straka is a life long democrat and gay activist that switched to a Trump supporter in 2018ish time frame. He never had a problem with any law enforcement agency until he became a Republican. Antifa burned and looted stores and got paid money by the city of DC.

It's a touchy subject because we constantly hear that teachers are just mouthpieces for the fringe left and as such are just indoctrinating our kids, but in the same breath we are calling for them to be armed. I wouldn't want a 32 year old soccer mom who probably hates her husband and her life to be packing heat.
You dont know that. Maybe it would have delayed these cases? But even college kids (VaTech) can be off the rails crazy.
This whole issue is bigger than guns. And frankly Wayne, i believe it is all part of a planned "transformation" of this country.
