True story on horse betting. We were on our way to Seymour Indiana to play in a golf scramble back in the late 80's. My buddy bet horses, was part owner on some. He told us to make a sure bet on this one horse, not a derby horse but it was like 25-1 nag. We ask him if the fix was on and he just grinned. My dumbass put 2 hun on this horse to win and I think it's still running. I stayed in his ass about that sure thing till the day he passed.
