Im always excited and anticipate who the NYTimes is going to endorse for the general election. Nail-biter...
I don’t understand why we’re not constantly droning actual cartel members.
My guess has always been that there is an agreement between them and our government. Am sure there are people in our government taking money from them to protect them but also could be the cartels agree to stay mostly out of the US but can smuggle in a large % of their drugs. If there was nothing sketchy going on we could easily take them out with our military which would help eliminate the drug crisis we have in this country plus free Mexico and other countries helping keep their citizens from illegally invading our country (would eliminate the cartel coyotes and the violence many of these people are trying to escape).
I decided years ago not to talk politics much around most people I know in real life...I used to do it a lot and it often caused arguments and problems, so best just to leave politics out of the discussion.
Also, it is terrible when there is someone you really enjoy talking to or joking around with and then politics comes up and your like 'wow...holy shit, that person is super liberal...also kind of retarded.'
I think I quit talking politics mostly out of frustration, most people don't follow it closely enough to talk seriously about it. Someone said something political to me recently and I brought up the crisis at the border...the historic flow of migrants we are seeing coming into our country...and the person I was talking to thought I was making it all up because 'I haven't seen any of that on the news.' B-tch of course you didn't see any of that on your news.
That person probably heard from the 10 minutes of news they watched a day, how horrible mean Trump was to little Mexican kids trying to get here and now they don't hear anything about the border so the person assumes the border is just fine because CNN and the Jim Acosta's of the world aren't screaming about it.

I view myself like a bank robber in the 1940s...back when robbing banks was some easy sh-t. No cameras or dye packs or anything really to worry about, just roll into the bank with a gun...steal some money, never go to that town again. The little town would just put out a sketch of the criminal and probably pin it on some local dirtbag just to make the town feel safe.
