I hit Kroger today. We are supposed to get 3/4" of ice, basically shutting us down for 36 hours. Ground beef was on sale, plenty of milk, eggs, bread, etc, I think most of the folks who have triple digit IQs were pretty smart about things. They had no cream of celery soup though. Frustrating.

I think part of the problem is that the US is still acting like Russia is the USSR when it’s not. Also, Germany and Russia have been primary trading partners for centuries. Now we are seeing a thawing of WW2 tensions and they are going back to that. They will probably do more business going forward.
And that does bring forth the question on what the value of NATO actually is. I don’t think Trump was necessarily wrong about challenging it. Best I can tell it’s an alliance of democratic militaries working in union for expansion or defense of democratic markets.

I don't know what Brandon is doing, but eveidently some time last night the USA conducted a raid into Syria that left multiple civilians dead and we managed to loose at least one helicopter on the egress. Details are sketchy.

She says all the right things when it comes to Repub/conservative/MAGA....but I read an article the other day talking about where she has switched parties a couple of time, Obama supporter, and there's a video (which I didn't watch) where she was supportive of Merrick Garland's SC appointment by Obama.
