If politicians decide to tax unrealized gains, and if it passes Constitutional muster (with John Roberts doing backflips to make it happen), I will start an appraisal business that drives around Washington DC assigning arbitrary values on politician assets.

The best part was how they passed it. They had angry parents on the scheduled night, so the adjourned and reconvened the next night with no notice and noone allowed to attend.

Testing is far more logical than any of the other bullshit they’ve imposed. Obviously doing it weekly doesn’t make a hell of a lot of sense. I just can’t believe they didn’t exempt the people who took a few covid shots.
I had to take a test a few weeks ago (my first one) to attend a conference (and come to think of it they never asked for proof). It was a self administered nose swab. No covid detected.

You sure about that? The article said parents were mostly on board with it. They said all was peaches and sunshine. They all wanna do their part to keep other kids from maybe getting a fever.
