Didn’t think all those things were prerequisites for building a boat.
I guess you think we should all just drive prius’, live in European style flats, and only own a boat if you’re a commercial fisherman.
We used to have a word for that type of conspicuous consumption epitomized by a yacht made out of gold. Greed. And it wasn't a virtue.
That is the choice.That isn't the choice. It's about the distribution of resources. There is no way you can argue that making an entire yacht out of gold just because you can advances the quality of goods and services.
It's a gaudy, gauche abomination that is nothing but a pure waste of resources in a display of conspicuous consumption
One of the primary factors in communist china's economic success is a growing enriched wealth class that is allowed some form of free enterprise.
They have an insatiable materialistic lust for objects precisely like that. Ostentatious wealth is literally all they care about. Why do you think the ruling party allows them to have such wealth? Why not just take it from them to give to the people?

No sequels should be made of classics...I know you don't believe in that cause you want like 12 Star Wars movies...and no I'm not saying the original Star Wars is a classic. Just using your favorite movie as reference. There should never been a sequel to Dumb and Dumber or SuperTroopers...Major League was the greatest baseball movie ever made....but Charlie Sheen was basically Hunter Biden so they had to make a sequel for his habit.
